  1. I just took a second to think about it and we do seem to be mainly centered towards comics. Might be fun if someone on one of the podcast does a Star Trek/Wars themed episode or series.

    Scarves are always awesome.
  3. Okay. I just realized it, you did set up an Earth-2 youtube account when you posted the original eater of souls video, right? Well, draft people who have video cameras to go to cons/general geek events and film some of the going ons, talk to other con goers, maybe a quick hi to some of the con guests, etc. For that matter, maybe we should make a concentrated effort to have a get together during one of the cons this year. I know that I (and the Eater of Soul's twin) will be going to C2E2 this year. Maybe have a get together at a bar/apartment of a Chicagoer (Chicagoite?) on the Saturday or Friday night of the weekend?
  4. More episodes of Mike and Niki, even if they're the awesome shoot the shit episodes rather than a topic episode. Mind you I shouldn't be pressing that since I still haven't finished "Electric Kool-Aid." Mind you, I know Niki is busy with gad school and all that so it's all understandable. As an idea for a podcast to fill some of the spare areas, a Disney Animated Film themed podcast was suggested over in the After WFB thread. I'm sure Mike would have no trouble finding someone on the board who knows a fair amount about the films to co-host/ask to record it for the site. Other than that, hope that the site continues to be awesome. Also, having read some of the tourney threads, I look forward to being around for one.

I think I may have just made the most awesome ham ever. Brown Sugar and Pineapple glaze, delicious.

Someone beat me to it. Apparently a sonic screwdriver is Vodka, Orange juice, and Blue Curacao. I saw another recipe suggesting blue Gatorade but Gatorade and alcohol don't mix all that well unless you want to get smashed really fast. Then again, a sonic screwdriver should be able to open anything so....

I'm trying come up with an alcolic beverage worthy of being called a Sonic Screwdriver. Possibilities thrown my way have included Vodka and Sunny D; Vodka, Orange Juice, and Red Bull; Vodka, Sunny D and Blue Curacao; or Vodka and Blue Raspberry Kool-Aid with a splash of red bull.

James, I don't know where you found that but damn, I do think that is the most awesome thing I've seen all day.
  9. True dat. One of the very few remakes that actually manages to be better than the original. Can anyone else name any remakes that are better than the original? I think that Ocean's 11 is better than the original myself.
  10. Seconded. Mind you it would probably have to be the straight male members doing it because I think any of us attracted to guys would probably just sputter out the occasional, "Barney's awesome" then go back to drooling. Mmmmm, Neil Patrick Harris. I think I'm going to pop in the Assassins revival soundtrack.
  11. I second everything you just said.
  12. From joystiq.com I'm kinda excited and there's something just unwholesome enough about Sheep Man to make me want to play. Seriously, an electroshock sheep? What's not to love?
  13. Well, I fixed it for me. I'll get the first issue, but this will make Batman look unstoppable, if Bruce can beat the Omega Sanction from the ultimate evil in the DCU, then that means, Bruce Wayne, could actually be a god and that is way to powerful to make the character interesting to care about when he faces second rate villains like the new ventriloquist and others like her. Shiloh Norman beat the Omega Sanction as well. Besides, as Morrison had established before in Seven Soldiers, the Omega Sanction kills by trapping the person in a series of progressively worse alternate realities. Well, now that I typed that, the time travel aspect is explained. Really, Bruce beating the Omega Sanction just means he has that strong of a will.
  14. I like any movie where someone can sing and pull a man's heart out of their chest.
  15. It's Morrison so I'm used to things being kinda bat-shit (no pun intended) insane. Actually, this seems vaguely straight forward or backwards depending on one's choice. Personally, I got to say that I am heavily intrigued as to how time-traveling Bruce Wayne is going to work out or the aftermath.
  16. Sing it, sister... err, brother.
  17. Kinda makes you sad that Raimi has said on multiple occasions that he has no intention of using Carnage. Spider-Man has plenty of irredeemable villains but they aren't the well known ones unluckily.
  18. You see, when an irradiated man's 37 foot penis enters his irradiated invisible wife and plants a seed, 9 months later a super-intelligent irradiated baby is made.
  19. Reefer Madness The Musical. I'm going to have "The Brownie Song" stuck in my head for the rest of the day... well, until I get to the hell of Christmas music and "Christmas Shoes" plays once.
  20. Their power ratings are kinda wonky. Jean Grey is listed as all sevens, while Mephisto (one of Marvel's ninety millions Satan analogues) is mostly sevens except for a six in intelligence. For that matter, being the manifestations of the most absolute forces of the universe, you'd think that Infinity, Eternity, Death, and Oblivion would have a seven in each score. Eternity does but apparently the embodiment of space is a drooling idiot who can't move and isn't aware of it's own existence. Yeah, better just to just ignore them.
  21. There's something oddly adorable about Superhero Squad MODOK...

Maybe Ohio is the best of both worlds. We've had sleet all day. Wait, that isn't better...
