Sorry, always forget what's considered the Midwest and what's not. My bad.
  2. 1) Dr. Doom 2) Reed Richards 3) Tony Stark 4) Hank Pym 5) Valeria Richards 6) Bruce Banner 7) Amadeus Cho 8) Dr. Kavita Rao 9) Moira MacTaggert 10) The Leader
  3. We should really get together a fund to send that to Mike for Christmas.

Wow, that blows (no pun intended.) One of the only reasons I like living in the midwest. Sure, the weather is psychotically unpredictable but at least we rarely get more than six to eight inches from one storm system. Ohio drivers though do tend to treat the first snow of the season like the first time it's snowed ever but after that, it's all good.
  5. I will probably skip War of the Supermen if for no other reason than just buying Blackest Night stuff, I've filled up a fair amount of a long box. As for the Wonder Woman thing, kinda happy there. I am a huge fan of the character and I do believe that this is something she deserves.
  6. And that is the most awesome thing I've heard all day. I don't know how you kept a straight face.
  7. Season 1 was a lot of filler. Season 2 had a bit but it was a lot more lean since it only had 13 episodes as opposed to 26. Season 3 was where the show showed how awesome it was. Thanks to some of his moves in at the end of season 2 and in season 3, this is where I officially considered the Beast Wars Megatron to be the best version of the character. I just don't have a thing about him that I don't think is made of awesome. That and when he gets the dragon form? Kinda wicked, yes?
  8. Great episode, going to download and listen to episode 103 this evening so I can hear the rest. I'll agree the Cloverway dub was shit but I was just in High School when it came out and didn't really have access to the original episodes outside of a website that had screenshots and subtitles so it had to do. Definitely looking forward to your thoughts on Sailor Stars.
  9. It does sound awesome and considering that Earth-1 has never been revealed in the current 52 Universes, a great way to use that mystery. Since this is a series, I assume we'll get Superman Earth One next if this does well followed by a Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, or Flash.
  10. Enjoyed part 1. It was very enjoyable with just the right amount of homage and deviation from the original. Vaguely off-topic, if Matt Smith doesn't work out playing The Doctor, the guy playing Hatter would definitely do a pretty good job in his place.

Just randomly looking around Netflix and found a whole bunch of DVDs. Half tempted to order a couple just to laugh. Link is to a video of Bob Ross painting for anyone who is too young or just never seen Bob Ross.
  12. I'm going to find some way to use "Do you smell brimstone and sodomy?" in an actual conversation sometime today. Overall, very awesome reads, I'm sure they'll be even better when performed.
  13. Seconded and definitely track down a physical copy.
  14. I will admit it wasn't new reader friendly but if you've been following JSA, it does make a significant amount more sense. A lot of it ties into the previous arc on the main title.
  15. Existential doomsayers, waiting for the coming of the old ones that never happens? The rocks hardcore so much that it hurts.
  16. The cover actually makes me think that Cable is the guy with the mutant on his chest from Total Recall.
  17. I'm saving Die Hard for christmas, after all, it is the greatest christmas film of all time. I'd probably put Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, and the original Miracle on 34th Street ahead of it actually.
  18. I've watched the trailer a couple of times. It looks very interesting. It's got a good advance review on io9 also.
  19. I was thinking about this and I couldn't decide which one I thought was THE quintessential action movie: Die Hard or T2. I'd go with T2. Die Hard is a close second though. If we go with non-Sci Fi, then definitely Die Hard then.
  20. I've written like 10 single spaced pages in the last two days that I've been off from work. Now I'm afraid that because I'm going back tomorrow that I'm going to fall back into my old rut. Kinda sucks to tell you the truth.
  21. Watching some season 1 30 Rock and had an interesting thought: NBC was just bought from GE by Comcast. It'll take about a year to get finalized but still, how are they going to handle it on the show since Jack working as a VP for GE is a huge aspect to it?
