Considering how disappointed people were with the bulk of the season, and considering how disappointed they were with the first season finale, it doesn't surprise me that viewership for this finale was down.
Volume three has a good premise so hopefully it'll rebound.

If it was West, the "Pandora's Box" could be the dark path he's now set himself on.
I just watched that scene of the shooter walking away about 50 times. He's too tall and heavier built to be West, who's a slim kid. He's also white, which rules out the Haitian. My bet stays with Future Peter, Noah, Mr. Petrelli, or possibly Future Sylar. The build seems too slim to be Noah, but the possibility's still there.
Of course if they hadn't decided who the shooter will be, they could have easily put some random nobody actor until they decide.
-
Yeah it looks good, and not better looking like enterprise. That ship looked like a beast.
-
I thought Noah shot him as well.
I think it will be someone new or possibly the Haitian as he seems loyal to Mrs. Petrelli.
-
I think the Maya payoff will be that Sylar will kill her / take her plague powers, this way he'll have that in his back pocket for future use.
I think it's the other way around that Maya will kill Sylar is the payoff...

Um...okay...didn't mean to put you an a rant there
Are you more upset that it's titled after the book or that you think it sucks? For what it is I think it looks alright.Kind of harsh to judge the movie based on the trailer isn't it? They need to tell what happened to audience. The movie is called: The Last Man on Earth.
The rest is internal monologue. Problem solved.
It's a movie. An internal monologue doesn't give you the emotional pull that actually seeing him lose his whole world does. I'm hoping it's done in flashbacks.
If you watch Last Man on Earth (the Vincent Price version and still the best adaptation to date) then you will see the effectiveness of internal monologue. It captures the loneliness, depression and alcoholic angst of the novel.
I wished they just advertised this as a remake of Omega Man. That's what it looks like to me...
To me, there is no such film that could begin to do, what I consider to be the greatest horror novel of all time, justice. This coming from a guy who isn't too fond of vampires. I can tell you that I almost refuse to go and see it in the theaters, not to save the money, but for the sake of sparing the audience my loud groans when that fucking CG tiger runs out and tackles the deer. I will also groan loudly when Will Smith is yelling at the mutants and there's an explosion at just the right time to mask some foul language. I do not look forward to sunglasses and tank tops. I do not look forward to the movie being set in New York because LA is part of the whole fucking point the novel was written in the first fucking place!
I hope the premier is hit by a meteor.

I own the first two trades and love it i'll have to get more.

What's he stuck in a transporter buffer like Scotty? Cause Spock lives far longer than humans and was alive during ST;TNG. Makes sense he'd live untll there is working timetravel. Unless they are going to do donughts around a sun again like in four....

What if Adam gets injected with the virus and its mutates into the strain thats wipes out 93% of the world?
Adam's got way to much of a god complex to want to die. Nice nod to Linderman being Adam's disciple by mentioning that he had inside help
I don't know the whole Linderman being Adam's discliple seems to be a plot hole. Why would the others let Linderman get control of the company if he was just as bad as Adam? Why wouldn't he have released Adam from prison?
Bob mentioned it to Nathan in one of the episodes, plus you have to remember than Linderman had the support of Mrs Petreli and several others where no longer involved with the company like Hiro's dad and Charles
Still wouldn't explain why he didn't free his idol. I think Elle will turn on her Dad and have been working with Adam, It dosen't make alot of sense that he got away after she zapped him.

Who's Ares?

I have a suspicion that Adam wants to release the virus because it's the only way he can really die. The whole "being shot in the head is the only way" thing is a red herring. What better way to throw a middle finger to the world than to take 93% of its population to the grave with you?
I don't think he wants to die...

Yeah, but if it were true, and the AICN guys are good are great little nuggets like this, then it could possibly be awesome. Also following the link, Harry claims that WB tried to pull his site to stop the news coming out. He then goes on the defend McG, which isn't good, but still, I'm getting chills just thinking about how awesome this could be. If anyone saw that dragon movei Bale was in, the character was similar to Connor, so this could work very well.
Reign of Fire?

No offense to James or DW but I avoided Jaw IV reviews because I knew it would suck hard. Go figure it would take Jigsaw's penis for me to finnally read it. Great job guys as it was really entertaining and probably much more entertaining then the movie itself. I laughed hard at this
D.W.: Yes, we must weep for the villain, a character that was dead before this movie even started. Oops, I'm sorry, at the end. Or something...
-
- jigsaw's penis
Yeah... I'll take the blame for that one.
Okay i'm sure as hell going to regret this, but please explain...

Too bad it isn't a syn ripoff as that would be badass. It still has 'synspawn' so to speak because I see smaller monsters attacking people. I think this movie looks really good.
-
All I see is smoke.
It's the creature if you watch the preview you see it turning. Of course you can't tell what the hell it looks like, but i'm sure it's the creature.
-
Yea i saw that Pic before looks alot like Sin from FFX which if your going to rip a badass monster design that is one of the best.

Stardust director Matthew Vaughn told the Daily Mail that he wants to shoot comic book adaptation Thor at home in the UK.
"We have the A-list actors, designers, cinematographers and crew in Britain, so there's no need to make 'Thor' among all that madness in Los Angeles," he said.
The newspaper added that, because of the current writers strike in the US, Thor would not start filming until the end of next year.

Wouldn't it cost more with the strength of the euro?
I think he just hates Hollywood.
Well that makes sense considering he's a director. That's like becoming a police officer but you hate cops.

What amazes me is that it's right along with what they thought it would do. Why would anyone spend that much on a movie that they thought would just break even? Chances are it won't even break even until the dvd is out.
Between rentals and sales don't DVD's make a killing?

Christopher Pine is only one letter away from Christopher Pike, who was the captain Kirk replaced on the Enterprise... Coincedence?
I think it just might be...
-
Much better quality, still couldn't make out what it was, but I saw the parts you mentioned only show a glimpse. It looks like it has some smaller monsters with it.
