Well considering that some of these budgets were low I think that DVD sales will cover most up. What was that crazy movie that had Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert Deniro about a fallen star that human? That flopped...
Stardust wasn't a flop. The budget was 70 million, and it made 122 million. It only flopped in the US. They loved it overseas.
Oh okay, well good for them. Studios probably should market more europian countries isn't the euro double the dollar?

As for the movie, I think it'll flop in almost the exact fashion as Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within did--horribly.

Despite the director (Robert Zemeckis), writers (Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary) and cast (Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich and Robin Wright Penn), I honestly believe Beowulf is going to fail horribly at the box office. According to Wiki it had a budget of $150 million, which seems like a huge risk to take on a CGI action-fantasy film based on a poem most people have never read.
I always thought Beowulf was required reading. I know I covered it in High school.

If the powers are genetic, than I wonder if they are all descendants of the same person. Perhaps someone that has been around for hundreds of years and is still around. ...hint...hint

Was wondering what powers Hiro's Dad and Nathans Mom have as I dont think we have been fully told yet, perhaps they could have slightly altered powers to that of their offspring similar to Parkman and his father maybe?
The reason I ask is because if that be true with Hiro's father it would have been a nice touch to have him appear with Adam somehow in the past, maybe im jumping the gun in thinking that there could be a chance that Hiro's father is a follower of Adam and was preaching him to Hiro to eventually have him follow in the future. Or Hiro's Dad is against Adam and didnt know who he was before
Really with the exception of Matt and his dad similar powers don't seem genetic. Dl phases and Niki has superstrength, thier son? Controls machines. Nathan flies and Claire's Mom controls fire, Claire? Regenerates. Charles Deveraux had a power but it seemed as though simone didn't. It seems as if the heroes gene is still random and not something specific.
OK, but all those examples have both parents exhibiting abilities. Maybe its a case of a child with only one "special" parent gets a similar or identical ability wheras a child of two powers will have a much less predictable ability.
Thats a good point. We have to get to know some of the originals powers to really kinda of figure it out.

Is the juniur member of on of the worlds oldest super-teams. The man has been practically a sidekick for decades.
Really the most powerful are Dr Strange or Silver Surfer.
Hasn't Sentry broken through Strange's forcefields? The part about Sentry being a basketcase is true but if he gets pushed too far dosen't the Void pop out? The guy who broke every bone in the Hulk's body? Silver Surfer is number one.

I think I'm most upset about The Office. Last night was brilliance as usual.
I think last season had a better fall debut. Lost and Heroes starting in the same week (if I remember correctly) beats anything this season has to offer.
As much as I love Lost it's lost some luster as 'the others' were displayed to be so uber in the first two seasons, and in the third they seemed quite human. It really bugs me. I like a good chunk of new shows Journeyman, chuck, Pushing daises and Reaper.

Yeah DS9 was brillant the whole time, it didn't seem to have as many bad eps like Next Gen or Voyager had. I'm not saying Next Gen was as bad as Voyager, but there was a couple of eps from each series of Next Gen that I could have done without watching. Voyager was inverse to Next Gen very few good eps amd lots of terrible ones.
I think Quinto is a good choice for Spock.
DS9 is almost notch and notch with Next Gen. They were able to do something Voyager couldn't created badguys and not have to job the Borg out to get them over. Ryder? Everyone better keep a close eye on their stuff...

All said, based on the ad I saw last night, this coming episode looks to be the best yet. IT fills in the three months apparently.
Yeah, and i'm looking forward to them explaining what happened to Nathan.

Yea but I think that had more to do with keeping Ando on screen so he wasn't forgotten. Man If Adam really wants to get at Hiro...

Man I'd hate to lose Heroes, Chuck and Journeyman. I'm sure Reaper will be gone to. This sucks.It's naive to think it would only last a week. My prediction: they will break after a few months and this season will be written off. Look for things like Heroes, Chuck and Journeyman to be gone next season. All new shows this season look to be burned from the get go. Something like Lost might benefit from this as they will just have a no-go or a late seaseon...season. -

Bwahahaha I'm imagining the "global" Joe team. It's going to be Captain Planet-esque national stereotype central. Oh I feel bad for you guys who were fans. They're going to Transformer it.
G.I. Joe was already nothing but stereotypes. The Indian tracker, the Asian kung fu guy, the muscle bound marine, the unknown ninja. Their code names pretty much told you all you needed to know. When you hear about a guy named Quick Kick, you knew what he brought to the team.
Didn't Quick kick die?

I thought that Hiro and the Princess worked well and had an important factor to the overall story.
