Usually I don't make this threads or even part take in them, but the man brings the goods on almost every movie and keeps me up to date, So HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
-
I watched the second and third episodes, and they are 100 times better than the pilot. You can tell someone else is writing them now. The dialog still doesn't flow naturally though.
I thought the second was meh, but I really like the third it feels liked they turned a corner. I'm really interested in Sara as it's obvious that will's dad has no real intention on fixing her and only wants Jaime. Hell he's turned her into a junkie.

ike Will Farrell? Generally for me he's hit or miss, I couldn't stand him in Jay and silent bob(Ugh that movie sucked).
Will Farrell only does one thing good, and he did it in the Jay and Silent Bob movie. I hated him in Talladega Nights.
I agree and maybe because it was the first time I seen him (as I hadn't watched any of the new snl(well old now)) it was just so over the top stupid, that I really wanted to punch my TV.

One of the things they are fighting about is the internet, and how to get money off something digitally released. I feel like you get paid to do a job. After the job is over, all money should go to the company that bought it from you.
I was under the impression that with intellectual property rights, writers got a piece of the revenue?

Unions are some of the most detrimental organizations in this country. They are only in existence to further their own agendas. They don't give a flying fuck about "protecting the worker" or whatever might have been their purpose ages ago. This is no different.
Yea really. When I started working at a supermarket, I had to join the union(yea no choice invovled unless I didn't want to work) And was forced to pay a hundred dollar membership fee. 25 bucks over four paychecks of a minimal wage job that wasn't full time, is a bunch of bs. I was in the union for two years and was never noticed of any type of meeting. At least though on that level having some power helps little people maybe get better paychecks and benifits. These days though with sports and entirtainment areas everyone is making money hands over fist, it just seems greedy. What are the repercussions of a writer not being in the guild?

I bet it is the return of Captain America!
As much as I like Cap, I really would like to see a major death stick. It brings a nice air of believability to comics. Besides Cap would have to fight Colbert for his shield, and I don't like his chances.

Well in all fairness Die Hard was still decent...

Will Farrell
Well... I'm done with this thread.
You don't like Will Farrell? Generally for me he's hit or miss, I couldn't stand him in Jay and silent bob(Ugh that movie sucked).

Ok what the hell are they striking for?

Hmm, I honestly thought this ep was pretty good, but that might be because it was mostly centered around Sara and I really like her character and I'll have to disagree with your earlier assement Jack as I think Sackhoff(Sp?) is pretty good in the role. The Dialouge still needs work though.
I've still only seen the pilot, and she was horrible in it. Even with the bad writing, she still overacts.
It's that roof scene, it's just all kinds of messed up. Check out the third ep(you can pretty much skip the second) the entire show picks up. Plus I'll take overacting to a lead that has a hard time keeping on a straight face.

What methods did they use?
I imagine, since it lead to an arrest, either DNA, chemical fluid expulsion from fabrics (ie: finding old cleaned up blood) or digital fingerprinting. These are the only real substantial technological advances that lead to direct arrests on people they didn't have enough evidence for in the first place. As far as I know.
Hmm, why didn't they think of that before the movie? By the way my son likes your Avatar.

From Marvel.com:10/11/07 - Save The Date
Marvel's biggest - and only - news announcement this week hits this Thursday, October 11 at 12 p.m. EST, right here on Marvel.com. Save the date and watch this space!
- A new Captain America will be announced.
God I hope not.

The alternate ending is really funny.

You know i'm having a hard time believing that Mohinder is able to call Bennet secretly without the companies knowledge.

The cops didn't die. She did attempt to murder them, but Alejandro's power brought everyone in the police station back to life.
Did they show the cops getting back up? I wonder what the time limit is on Alejandro being able to bring people back.
-
Yeah I hate Maya, and now officially she's a murderer. I'm not sure if that last picture had the flying boy in it or not. I tell you what really annoys me is two of the new characters have abilities we've already seen. They can't be running out of ideas already? Sylar's back so i'm happy, but I was really hoping after he found out he couldn't use her power, that it was all a large illusion that candice had used on him.

Heroes is getting into the trend of giving everyone powers. It kind of makes everyone with powers less special if everyone has them. Whenever they introduce a new character, we know they are going to have a power. I'd rather have more Andos on the show.
As long as Mr. Bennett dosen't ever get powers i'll be happy.

So um...they're going to have Galactus as he is in the comics. How will they explain the whole killer space cloud thing?
In my mind he was in the cloud, and we never saw him for what he really was. We only had a glimpse when you could see the shadow of his helmet. Think of it like the fire cloud that hid the space ships in Independence Day.
The thing is if I'm getting a Surfer movie I want Thanos. Galactus is cool and all but Thanos is one bad boy, and really is Surfer's main villian.

The fact that Harvey Weinstein called it "disturbing and challenging" is what hooked me. I want to know bad. I read that Kevin said it was along the lines of non gore horror that borderlines thriller.
That's cool because I'm not a fan of too much gore.

I'm really curious to know what this is about. I thought low budget horror films tend to make the most money?

Quick question, did the kid end up dying saving those other kids on the bus?
I don't think so, but it doesn't matter. He had to live long enough to save 6 other people's lives. If his dad had killed him as a child, then all those people would be dead.
It's the butterfly effect. By stopping him from killing his son, he may have saved hundreds or thousands of lives. Actually I guess that's more of a domino effect but you get the idea.
Yea I know, I was just curious if he had died or not.
-
Yeah I watched the pilot, his 'power' is going to be one hell of a handicap. If he has no way of controlling it, he should not drive again and he can't ever be left alone with his son. I'm a little curious to know how two seperate people(who were both we're in a relationship) have the same power. That's far too coincidental for me, something had to have happened. Quick question, did the kid end up dying saving those other kids on the bus?

I know this seems late but I couldn't download this to hear it, it's not compatible with aol or some such nonsense, so is there an alternate way of downloading it or a script I can read as Doctor Who is one of my favorite shows and this one of my favorite eps, i'd really enjoy to hear your thought on it.
