  1. I'm surprised that Superman would hand him to Batman. I don't read much DC but I was always under the impression that he was quite a stickler for rules, and you know human rights. Handing over someone to be tortured is just as bad as doing it yourself.

  2. The title of the new Indiana Jones adventure, now in production under the direction of Steven Spielberg, is Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, it was revealed today by actor Shia LaBeouf.

LaBeouf, who stars in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Ray Winstone and John Hurt, announced the title during today's MTV Video Music Awards, which were broadcast live from Las Vegas.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a Lucasfilm Ltd. and is being distributed by Paramount Pictures. It will be released in the U.S. and simultaneously in most territories worldwide on Thursday, May 22, 2008. Frank Marshall returns as producer, with Kathleen Kennedy joining George Lucas as executive producer.

    What a long, complicated title.

Ugh, that title pretty much confirms how crappy this movie will be. Indy's already found (and lost) the holy grail so really what could be more significant than that? What does the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull mean anyway?

  3. I was trying to get to the oratory forums and I keep getting this message:

    Thanks!

Are the forums down or is there something wrong with my computer?

  4. Y'know, Doctor Who was pure crap last season right up until this point. Then it became the best Sci-fi show there is. This two-parter, Blink and the following four-part finale really restored my faith in this show, with Blink in particular being absolutly pant-wettingly terrifying. Seriously, its the creepiest episode of TV since the Buffy episode Hush. Not to mention that the first non-dalek non-cybermen season finale totally rules.

Watch this. Also when it comes out over there watch Jekyll. That is a freaky-good sci-fi/supernatural show.

Yeah Blink is awesome, you don't have to know anything about Doctor Who to watch that show. Jekyll is already showing on BBCamerica but since I missed it's premire, I watched all six episodes on dailymotion great show.

  5. Dean Cain, who played Clark Kent from 1993 to 1997 on four seasons of “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” will play the murderous Dr. Curtis Knox (who may or may not be Vandal Savage) on “Smallville.”

He’ll appear in the coming season’s fourth episode.

Cain follows in the footsteps of Christopher Reeve, who played another doctor, Virgil Swan, in “Smallville’s second and third seasons.

The CW launches “Smallville’s” seventh season Sept. 27.

That's awesome. I hope he ends up being more then a one and done character.

  6. "If Tony Stark tries to kill us we'll know he's a Skrull". Should be fun!

I don't mind the art, its a good contrast to the Mighty Avengers. Obviously I'm hoping that its a short term deal but right now it aids the differentiation between the two titles.

That's the one thing that bothered me. If Stark is a skrull, and he is already set in a high position would he blow his cover just because they found out about Elektra? It wouldn't be worth it because they don't know anything other then there is one skrull on earth.

  7. Mary-Jane and/or Emma Frost

Your the first one to say emma frost...nice i agree but all of you are missing the best woman in all the comics, Mystique...with her you can have any woman you want, don't you agree

    Mystique, shapeshifting for the win.

  8. I don't see why Stark couldn't be one. They hinted enough at it. Of course that would be too easy.

I wonder why Logan couldn't sense it though. Even if he couldn't smell it, he picks up on little things like mannerisms and voice inflections. He can usually tell when someone is lying also. Maybe he didn't know her well enough. I don't know what kind of history they had, if they even had one. But knowing him, I'm sure he had a one shot or limited series with her. He's had them with everyone else.

Well Woverine had been replaced by a skrull before...

  9. With Elecktra revealed as being a skrull who else is one?

I am gonna go with MJ. I have a feeling.

I think Stark is the only one who is safe from being revealed as a Skrull.

She's a skrull? Why would they bother with someone so low on the totem pole? Is it a begining of some type of invasion? I thought the skrull empire was mostly decimated...

  10. The last one about the guy who was convicted of Obscenity should have been number one. What a joke of a law. obscenity is a matter of opinion and what might be obscene to me might not be to you. How can you enforce a law that is so open to interpretation, especially since it violates amendment number 1 the right to free speech. I mean was there anything even in those 9/11 books that were controversial other then the fact it was about 9/11?

  11. ComingSoon.net is reporting that 20th Century Fox has updated the title for the Alien vs. Predator sequel, coming to theaters on Christmas Day. It's really simple, just add an "s"...

    ALIENS VS. PREDATOR

Poor Predator! Directed by the Strause brothers, the sci-fi action-adventure stars Reiko Aylesworth, Steven Pasquale, John Ortiz, Shareeka Epps, Johnny Lewis, Sam Trammell and David Paetkau.

That's just stupid. People are going to get confused and think they already saw it. People need to be told it's a sequel. People are dumb that way.

I don't think people are that dumb. Most people won't see it because the first one was horrific.

  12. It was decent, but easily the worst of the series. As much as I hate to admit it, Justin Long absolutely SAVED this movie. He was awesome throughout the entire thing.

I don't know I liked it better than Die Hard 2. Your right about Justin Long though, and the fight scene with McClane and Mai was fun.
