  1. Unmade Bond Script? Looks intriguingly bad. Written by Connery and featuring Bond vs robot sharks? I hope this one gets into the public domain. Apparently I'm in the script-
  2. This is the first post to take the topic title literally.
  3. Oooh, both excellent choices. Yes, both of those are really amazing in every department. That reminds me, I've got Howl's Moving Castle on my shelf and never watched it. Thats going straight to the top of the pile.
  4. Awesome warning in the corner of that cover-
  5. Yeah, the animation of the 90's show is just poor, I was similarly shocked by how much the X-men cartoon has aged. I really loved both those shows but between some crap voice acting and inadequate animation I really can't watch them anymore. The new Spider-man show is great though, everything except Venom has been handled really well.
  6. I mostly remember that episode for its BBC 1 advert opening fight. BBC 1 always has people wearing red doing crazy dancing in crazy places on their between show channel promos, and this looked straight out of that.
  7. Actually its like saying the best knife wound you ever had still managed to sever an artery.
  8. Ah, a Bill Goldberg film that looks worth watching. Not worth paying for, but worth watching at least.
  9. One of these is not like the others. What the fuck is Keanu doing in that lineup?
  10. I think we can all agree that Nicolas Cage's The Wicker Man is by far the funniest film of all time. See?
  11. If thats true then that man had a real good time shooting Californication.
  12. Great, now I'm going to distracted trying to picture Matthew Perry with a full beard. He had that goatee for a while but I just can't picture him with a beard.
  13. On a few sites like Variety there are HUGE For your consideration advertisments for Heath Ledger as best supporting, I'd be surprised if he didn't get a nomination.
  14. Dan's life is an episode of Friends.
  15. At my step-sisters wedding I barely managed one of those. It was a choice between wearing trainers or turning up 5 minutes late, and I've been to quite a few weddings (cash in hand gigs from my choirboy days) so I just figured it would start late like all the others. I was filled with shame its fair to say.
  16. Its not watching but it is most definitely enjoying. The Museum of Curiosity is a BBC Radio 4 show created by the insatiable fact-finders behind QI. Basically each show the host (QI creator) and the museum curator Bill Bailey (musical comedian) talk to a panel of three guests including everyone from Brian Blessed to particle physicists. Each guest offers up an item to be placed the museum, the only requirement is that it must be interesting. Its hilarious, extremely clever and very informative, I highly recommend it.
  17. And yet somehow I trust him far more than I do actual kids TV presenters. Great image. Next up: The Other George W.
  18. I've been thinking about getting the first series of Grandma, Texas Ranger.
  19. Everything is out a day late this week right? Screw Thanksgiving.
  20. That might be based on their record sales, but I think that a misleading source. I own a Nickelback album and I can't stand them. which album do u own?? Silver Side Up. It represents a dark time in my life where I did nothing but play Jedi Knight 2, drink belgian beer and eat cheesy poofs.
  21. I will never be able to satisfactorily explain it, even to myself, but I still kind of get a charge out of this movie. I know it's not great, but I don't care. I'll agree its not great, but I really like the fastball style dialogue of this film. Jim Carrey is hugely entertainig throughout, and I get a kick out of some of the Wayne/Grayson banter. The problem with B&R is that it not only took the style of Forever up to 1000, it cast some fucking horrible people in the roles and ditched any attempt at anything more than the most basic one-liners.
