    Hey, here's an idea:

    I've never done fan-fiction (except a story depicting Batman's death I have unfortunately lost) but I thought it would be kind of a cool idea to work on chops and stuff.

    I don't know if it would be in prose or script form but I thought it would be fun. Maybe a list of writers and an equal-numbered list of characters and random assignments with strict guidelines.

    If there is interest, I would be happy to administrate but I would also be taking part. The results could even be voted on by E2 forumites who aren't taking part.

    What do you think?

    Yup. I hadn't read DC in years before IC. Then Infinite Crisis shit all over that.

    Oh another Hulk note, anyone faulting DC for tie-ins, whats with the HUGE amount of "World War Hulk" banners I saw across just about every Marvel book on the wrack? It seemed just as ridiculous.

    Even worse is that they are trying to push it off as being set in a different timeline than the rest of the Marvel U so as to deal with the issue of SPider-Man swinging around in a New York that looks fine. What about Heroes for Hire, Avengers: Initiative, and Punisher War Journal? They set in other timelines too?

    Hey, I'll never be one not to shit on Marvel when they deserve it. The only book I read on a monthly basis that I haven't found a fault in (and I've only been reading it for five months) is G.I. Joe.

    I take it you haven't been reading the Storm Shadow book then... :laugh:

    And this all stemmed from Lois Lane taking a dump.

    I still didn't get my option in the poll and NO answer!

    So that's where she stashed her coke! :D

    Blane, instead of going on and on and on about how much "Yoda hates DC and wants to fuck Marvel," maybe you should actually read the site and listen to Earth-2.net: The Show.

    At the end of the day it comes down to this: if you don't like the fact that I use my forums to say what I want to say, leave.

    Here here. Make points you can back up in at least a semi consistent manner.

    Yoda has been harsher than I on many Marvel books and, guess what: Countdown sucks and DC should apologize and publicly flog Dini for it.

    Plus, I still say Lois was dropping a deuce...

    Its fucking Countdown! What makes you think that either the art or characterisation is a priority? They just want to slap it together and throw it on the shelves. Its just the worst panel, thats all.

    Well said sir. It seems a little pointless and a little silly to be talking about cum in Lois Lane's hair. Think those google searches are weird now?

    I think that Barbara was just playfully jesting that Lois couldn't use the party to write a big expose on Super Heroes (IE thier behaviour and ID's) and after Lois acknowlaged that she wouldn't do it even for a Pulitzer Barb offered to assist her later on if she was blind drunk and puking. Call me cynical...

    But look at her. She is either high, or that is the worst panel in the history of ever.

    I'm the biggest Barker fanboy there is. He wrote the original treatment of the script (is what the article doesn't mention) and has fully endorsed the film.

    I've also heard very good things about "Inside," its on the festival circuit and is done by these guys. It seems that excellent European directors are relegated to remakes when they come to America (read: Aja).

    Reason one and only for Deadpool movie not being made:

    It is an action comedy based on a character whose face is scarred beyond recognition. You can't sell a burn victim heartthrob to teeny-boppers and expect them to bite. It's not a moneymaker.

    Yeah, except that he'd be in a mask for 90% of the movie. I'm sorry, but if they are seriously making an Ant-Man movie, then they damn well can make a Deadpool movie.

    I'd have to disagree there. Ant Man is more viable because its a marketing dream. Plus it is a lot easier to pitch: "Imagine if "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" met the Incredible Hulk. Done.

    Deadpool would be so neutered if brought to the big screen you wouldn't want to see it anyway.
