I haven't been outright pissed at an issue until #24, but that's another discussion.
A discussion we aren't having at this site until the December episode of Countdown.
Not that I'm being curt, I just prefer not to have great storylines spoiled by shit storylines. Welcome to the forums, Koete!

- movies about a women hits a man with her car and leaves him in the garage
Wasn't that a Law & Order episode?
It was a true story and is now a film by Stuart Gordon. Maybe it was a L&O episode too.

Agreed. People won't get it. It looks like a video game and the vast majority of the film-going audience is going to think that's stupid.

Or even Cassidy. Got a lean nasty look to him.
I liked him on Carnivale.
Welcome!

Thought I'd use this thread to update stuff that comes out on the day DM gets released or soon thereafter. Plus for follow-ups. Just news tidbits I can't cover on the show:
-Mick Garris steps down as showrunner on Fear Itself to support WGA strike. Job is in jeopardy for when he decides to return.
-Megan Fox to star in Jennifer's Body, a film about a possessed cheerleader killing boys in her small town. I want to see anything with Megan Fox, especially if it has to do with her body!
-Bonnie & Clyde VS Dracula due out sometime next year featuring Tiffany Shepis as Bonnie (I love you Tiffany!)
-Interview with Clive Barker online!
That's all for now.

Hot sexy incest.
This will be the name of my next musical project...

Regardless of whether or not you like SM, the real problem with this is that they are essentially forcing people to buy the whole SM line to understand what's going on. When you buy 52 or Countdown, you know what you're in for. Now, people who have only been following Amazing because the others suck now have to buy what amounts to all three books to continue with the run.
I sincerely hope that people drop this book in droves.
Or at the very least, buy all of them except Dan Slott's

No, and I fucking hate it. I always read Amazing Spider-Man because it was the only Spider-Man book that really mattered. Now you are telling me I HAVE to read three Spider-Man books a month? Fuck off with that shit.
Yep. I said before, I give it 8 months before it crashes and burns.

I like his art, and avoid most DC books. Problem created.
Everybody: meet Tim Glancy, the Bizarro Desmond Reddick.
-
If he was penciling all of Countdown it wouldn't only be on time, it would look good consistently too. He'd probably have time to help out on the editing end. I like his art. I hate Spider-Man. Problem solved.
-
I too said no. But that should be tempered by the fact that I don't currently buy it. However, if OMD ends the way it looks like it's going to end, I will be very weary of what I buy from Marvel in the future, period.
-
Though it will cause people to forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, supposedly it will only change Spider-Man's life.
And the biggest turning point in Marvel in 60 years in one of the highest selling universe-directing series of all time. But that's all.
-
You know the pillocks who didn't get that Nolan's series in a totally different continuity to the Burton/Schumacher series?
Even if this was a sequel, Nicholson could play no one but Clayface at his age.
Ba-Zing!

Correct. Event is the wrong word. It should have people worried.
Next thing we know is Hulk will punch reality, Iron Man will be a good guy, Cap will still be alive, Peter will never have unmasked, House of M (will never have happened (a good thing), and we're back to 1998...
-
The current rumor is that we're going to see
something similar to a Superboy Prime reality altering punch-like event
near the end of One More Day. If that is / was the case, I have to wonder if Marvel is retooling the ending, hence the reason for the delays.
Like I said: next stop hypocritesville. This would supremely lower Joe Q in my books. After all his railing against Crisis-type events...

All said, based on the ad I saw last night, this coming episode looks to be the best yet. IT fills in the three months apparently.
-
I think I'm most upset about The Office. Last night was brilliance as usual.
I think last season had a better fall debut. Lost and Heroes starting in the same week (if I remember correctly) beats anything this season has to offer.

A major male character is going to die soon, and stay dead. Click here for a hint from episode 10 from this season.
Goddammit! There goes one of the only reasons to watch this show...
Don't talk aboutMr. Muggles
like that.
Bwahahahahahaha!!!
Coming soon on Heroes-You, sir, just made the post of the year <clap,clap,clap/>

Bwahahaha I'm imagining the "global" Joe team. It's going to be Captain Planet-esque national stereotype central. Oh I feel bad for you guys who were fans. They're going to Transformer it.
If there's a Peruvian kid with a monkey who yells "Heart!" when everyone else yells "Yo Joe!" I am so buying two copies of the DVD...
I was crushed when he died in the comic. He was my favorite because he was so funny on the cartoon. I do admit he was kinda useless though. He was crushed when the pillar hit him...
I'm sorry. I'm in an odd mood today.

What the fuck do you need Quick Kick for when you have Snake Eyes?
Or, how about when you have a gun?
-
This is all the first sign of a Marvel "Crisis." Retcon city. Watch for it.
Next stop: hypocritesville.

Or if it's a roving shadow that disappears for two seasons....sorry.
I'm psyched for more giant monsters. Bring it on baby!
