  1. I thought I bought that up? Hmmmmmm.
  2. Another Phantasy Star would be great too. Totally forgot about that one.
  3. So every year the Movember Foundation does a charity event where participants shave off whatever facial hair they have and spend the month of November growing a moustache. The proceeds go towards awareness for men's health, specifically towards testicular cancer and depression. It's an international foundation, but it began in Australia, and still get's most of it's support from down here. This is the first year I'll be participating. It's rare I've gone without some form of facial hair in the past 7 years, but never a moustache. I have no doubt it's not going to be pretty, but I'm willing to do it for a good cause. So this was me about an hour ago: And this is me now: Please, if anyone wants to chip in a few bucks, that would be fantastic. I'll be using this thread to keep a running log of how it goes. The link for donating at https://www.movember.com/au/donate/your-details/member_id/763876/ I think MaxPower was hoping to do it this year too, and if he does then please send a few bucks his way too.
  4. For the past few weeks, I’ve been constantly rotating between three albums: Sleigh Bells' Treats, The Roots' Rising Down and Big Boi's Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, with a bit of Mark Ronson's Record Collection and Tegan and Sarah's Sainthood thrown in for good measure.
  5. Because of all the money they're putting into getting the 3DS out the door?
  6. Exactly! The 3DS is where the money is as far as I’m concerned. I’m sure their next home console will do well, but I doubt it will do anywhere near as well as the 3DS will.
  7. I think I might participate this year. My moustache is awful, but I’d still consider doing it for charity.
  8. Yeah, I don’t see this as something to be worried about. They’re in a transitional stage. I’m sure they’ll be back to printing money soon.
  9. I played the demo. There wasn't really anything there that made me want to play the full game.
  10. I want to support this idea so bad, but this doesn't sound like something I want to read at all. Even the artwork, which looks fantastic initially, just looks kind of stiff and unimaginative in those preview pages.

I saw the video for My Chemical Romance's new single when I was at the gym. I'm not really a fan of their music, but there's an interesting cameo in there. Why, hello there Grant Morrison.
  12. It is in continuity with being awesome. NOTHING ELSE I don't care if these words make no sense.

It looks like one of those solar powered bobbleheads. Basically it's head just keeps rocking back and forth as long as it's in sunlight. I'm so glad someone decided to make a toy of Spider-Man taking a poop. There was a real gap in the market there that needed to be filled.
  14. I really hope those Dhalia Bulbs I planted last night haven't wilted on me. If they have, I'm going to take my frustration out by killing as many enemies as possible. Then I'll relax by doing some fishing. In the desert.
  15. Nier is consuming my life. Soon it will consume my soul. Then I will become Nier.

The Australian dollar is almost on par with the US dollar. Once the exchange rate is good enough, I think I'll just buy America outright. Then I'll just kick out all the people I don't like
  17. It’s been a while. I still listen to so many. Giant Bombcast In This Thread (1up) Ben & Derek’s totally random show Irrational Behavior The Geekbox iFanboy – Pick of the Week Non Canonical Radio Lab Stuff You Should Know The Moth podcast This American Life NPR: Planet Money Rum Doings And a couple of others that rarely update.
  18. Maybe he'd like you even more. You'll never know until you try...
  19. One thing I liked about James Marsden's character is that in any other movie he'd be a bad guy. I mean, he's with Lois Lane, the love of Superman's life. It just makes sense for him to be a douche, so that you can cheer on Superman when he wins back her heart. But he's not; he's loving, caring and heroic. Which makes things even harder for Superman. I think Superman Returns made a lot of mistakes, but I really liked that they went that way with that character. EDIT Oh god, I love that scene so much.
