I think its the awkward position of wanting to appeal to old fans while having a different show that has its own merits. So far there have been two little treats that reward BB watchers but I agree it's yet to find its feet. Laughs and/or drama is very few and far between and the first three episodes mostly establish what the character of Jimmy is like at this point in time and the people around him. I'm sticking around because I'm still interested in seeing how he changes and I trust that it's building and will have more punch to it soon enough.

I remember really enjoying Big O then being really disappointed with the ending. I might have to watch it back. Space Dandy - I'm a huge fan of Cowboy BeBop so I was really hyped for this. 3 episodes in and I can certainly say they are pretty much NOTHING like each other. In fact SD is more like an art installation than a narrative at this point. I wonder if it'll change...

I've been sick this week and spent a lot of time watching Arrested Development for the first time. Love it! A brilliant mix of the sublime, the ridiculous and the hilarious.

I guess we thought if we recorded it now Hemmings would've edited it on time for June
