    Brightest Day

Looks very cool to me. I'm on board. Of course, anything ring-related in the DCU has the benefit of the doubt from me.
  2. Incorrect. Oh, you're right. Sorry Dubs.
  3. No, I haven't heard of that. Care to sum up? Also, Dread, I'm very anti-Morrison. I think he shits all over characters and shoehorns them into elaborate stories that don't make sense. But it's so outrageous, people think it's a form of genius. For some reason, I seem to be the only anti-Morrison person here, but nonetheless I was asking an honest question. I'm honestly confused. Also, where are the stories that date back to colonial times?
  4. Just read Batman and Robin #10, and I have a question.
  5. I'd love to hear some DC response to this controversy, or even some rumors about it. Aren't there web sites that touch on that stuff?
  6. Which Flash said that anyway? Barry or Wally? Because I could see Wally saying it, maybe, but Barry acting like a dick would be weird.
  7. The thing is, they're trying to make this a landmark moment for the character, but there's just no sense in it. The writers are acting like Ollie has always been this great man of morals, like Superman with a bow, but that's not true. Ollie has always been a bit shaky morally and this seems to fit perfectly with his character. I think the biggest thing is that "Cry for Justice" was so, so, so incredibly shit, that people are looking at this Green Arrow story as something more than it is. We're condemning the character for his actions - which make sense given the context - instead of condemning James Robinson for having become an absolutely shit writer.

    Hmm, I can't see it.

    Randomness

Wow, the physics questions that a Flash Spider brings up are astounding. Would the webs be super-strong somehow, in order to counteract the enormous pressures and momentum that super-speed would bring? Would running on walls at super-speed reduce the structural integrity of the buildings run on? Would hitting someone at super-speed with the proportional strength of a spider cause fatalities? This artist is dealing with serious issues of responsibility that I'm not sure he's prepared to answer for.

    Yeah. Obviously a typo.

    The Blackest Night

God, that was so fantastic. I'm glad I avoided the spoilers, because that was totally worth it for that splash page.
  14. Catman was featured in Green Arrow a couple of times during his last solo series, how he is now makes sense as explained in the Villains United mini where this team was formed. Its not like someone picked some random villain from Decades ago and made them a significant player in a massive event with their own mini series to follow. Human Flame. Ohhhhhhhhh, good stuff. Although, after the way he was written/reintroduced in "Green Arrow," this might as well have been a completely new character. I generally like Simone a lot, but, yeah "Secret Six" has been pretty shit lately.

I don't understand why that's in any way humorous. A vague Two-Face reference is the closest I can figure.

    The Blackest Night

Does anyone have any ideas what Mera's BIG SECRET was in BN: Wonder Woman #3? I couldn't understand what exactly I was supposed to be seeing there.

    The Blackest Night

    Nice cover. Boring, meaningless character.
