  1. Thats bullshit. I hate how networks pull that crap. Oh well, it is probably for the best, the series was starting to wane a bit.
  2. It depends on what purpose I was buying it for. If I am a devoted comic book fan and want it for my collection, why should it matter if I'm getting it at a bargain. To all those people saying they would take the morale high ground, does that mean that you pay full retail price for everything or do you shop around for the best price? This is no different. If however you were buying it for the pure reason of selling it to the closest comic book guy or eBay, then it's fifty/fifty what I would do. I'd like to think I would perhaps buy it at the asking price, sell it and then return to the place and give the guy 50% of the profit, just to help balance it out.
  3. Hahaha, that cracked me up, in the good way. I agree totally.

    PS3 news

Eh, I could read a report that if I left the PS3 on for 666 minutes straight it turned in to the anti-christ, but i'll probably still play it for 12hours straight when I get it
  5. Seems a bit of a reach, Robert Downey Jnr playing someone with a substance abuse problem.........
  6. those look like they are right out of Metroid or Halo......
  7. Looks funny, but I'll be honest, I'm a bit dissapointed. When Ferrell did Melinda and Melinda, I thought he was taking the Jim Carey path and going serious (or at least semi serious). Since then he has released a string of standard Stiller/Lorne Michaels/Sandler type movies, and this doesn't seem to be breaking the trend...... He's in danger of turning in to this decades Chevy Chase, funny, but people sooner or later people will grow tired of him.
  8. Quote from Heath Ledger on his role. Sounds like a step in the right direction. Nolan has also been quoted as saying the Killing Joke and the Joker's first 2 appearances in the comic are what he is aiming for. All in all, bring on 2008........
  9. I'll look at the pictures again once I see the movie to see if they actually make sense from a transforming point of view.
  10. Ha I was right. They're making it a seperate stand alone piece of shit, not interwoven to the movies. Fuckers.
  11. Wasn't the "last" film T3, isn't Sarah dead??? Seriously, this is such a bad idea I don't know where to start.. - So it's going to be some lame show about a mom and her kid, using the Terminator films as an umbrella to get audiences. - When I read this I thought cool, a show set in the future about the humans vs cyberdine... - Or couldn't you do it so the first episdoe is on the day Cyberdine becomes self aware? No one is going to watch a show about Sarah Connor being psycho and teaching her son to be a military general, it's just lame!
  12. Thanks for being careful of the spoilers I guess what I meant was I always loved in the cartoon how Megatron changed in to the gun while leaping in to Starscream or Soundwaves grip. I just love that visual.
  13. Yes it doesn make sense, but I think it's his hair that isn't looking right
  14. Hnmmm, I guess in theory a space ship makes sense, if most of the other Decepticons are ships/planes. Dunno, I know they couldn't do a gun for fear of a public outcry, but some sort of weapon would have been cool.
  15. I don't get it, what is he meant to transform in to? At first I thought it was a crossbow, and then a wookie weapon of some sort. What the hell is it??
  16. Even when she is meant to look like she is at deaths door, Ashley Judd still looks fucking hot!!!! Yoda, you really hate Saw don't you
  17. yeah I remember reading Reynolds not having much respect for Snipes at all. This is probably all a good thing. I want Reynolds to continue doing action flicks, but without the sci-fi/comic influence. More of a Bruce Willis / Will Smith type role.
  18. Where's Yoda, he is going to be sooo happy On a more serious note, I really have to watch these movies one day, just so I can stick up for my Aussie brothers on this board!!

    PS3 news

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the official release date for the PS3 is November 17th this year. I don't have a link, as I saw a TV add for pre-orders. No prices though, just put down $50 to ensure you don't miss out.
  20. 11. The Center of the Universe Principle: Everything that is worth your attention takes place in Tokyo. If there is action that takes place elsewhere, it means that a character is going to be a foreign exchange student in the United States. This makes me laugh because it makes sense doesn't it? All US movies are based in the US, British movies based in England, Bollywood in India, so why wouldn't Anime be based in Japan? Or is that the point of a cliche?
  21. I don't get the anti Thor sentiments here? Is it that you don't want to see it, or that you don't think they can do it well??
  22. You heard it hear first, she will be fired from this film before the halfway mark of screening. With her about 5th (or lower) on the credits list, there is no way Nolan or the studio is going to put up with any Cruise shit.
  23. I want Kang, is that too much to ask for, he was awesome! hehehe.
  24. The Joker is wrapped up in Quinn's origin, but she has nothing to do with his. I figured, which is why I was wondering why people were trying to guess casting, seemed a bit premature?
  25. I know what you are saying about the no baggage, but sooner or later they are going to get it wrong. What they are trying to do is pick the next big thing, everytime they do this. Besides, they just need to get a great character actor (Sir Ian McKellan, Vincent D'Orfonio, Gary Oldman) are such type actors that can move between many roles and movies without giving themselves away. Granted Pitt isn't in that league (yet) but I thought he would do the part justice.
