  1. Well I don't have a camera and am going solo. Gonna need to knick the photos from someone else.
  2. Hideki from Nerima Daikon Bros. (on the left)
  3. My anticipation for ACen is building even more as the event draws near. Bought up almost everything for my cosplay (all I need now is a green scarf), I got my badge in the mail and I am presently uploading my new AMV for the contest. Only 33 days until I board the bus. Woo.
  4. the 360 has picked up where the PS2 left off in the idea of bringing all your entertainment needs to one system. Both had great games and some faulty hardware, but I got to give the slight edge to the PS2.
  5. Playstation for better games, and for bringing discs to the forefront.
  6. NES. I would have voted Genesis over anything else (save the PS2) but the NES is the greatest console ever.
  7. SNES, better library of games as far as I'm concerned, and that was the strong suit for each of these system.

    The news thread

Oh Canada. Conservative minority government with the balance of power being held by the NDP. Please don't ever change.
  9. Well I did get my ACen badge in the mail today. Yay.
  10. The beginning of an anchor legend. Kellen's Sports Report Kellen's Entertainment Report
  11. I will vote the NES the whole way. Saved the industry, produced some all-time classic games. Love the Saturn, but it's no NES
  12. Genesis as it proved Nintendo could be competed with.
  13. The Neo Geo AES was the Cadillac of home gaming in the 90s, it was a spectacular piece of hardware that had the best arcade conversions of its time. The SNES though was priced in a range where the average person could afford it, and the games it produced are some of the best ever. Oddly enough the SNES is the only system I'm voting for in this round that I don't believe had an industry changing feature. It was the evolution of the NES and had one hell of a library.
  14. I hgate to say it, but Xbox. XBL changed multiplayer gaming in a huge way, Dreamcast missed the boat with a few things that led to it dying out so quickly (DVD's, not getting EA on board).
  15. PS2 did for using DVDs as game meida what the PS1 did for CD's as game media, throw on the fact that it was the first to effectively be usable as an entire home entertainment setup and that SWEET game lineup AND backwards compatability with one of the best systems ever, PS2.
  16. The Gamecube's legacy is about a dozen fun games. The Playstation is that it was the first to show the full potential of CD gaming, removable memory storage, and had a LOT of awesome games, yes with the library they had there were some "meh's" in there, but still. The RPGs alone were enough for me to trump the Gamecube library.
  17. Wii. Thee Wiimote and play style have brought in so many new gamers it's not even funny. While the 360 is a phenomenal online experience it's terrible hardware (I think it's like 42% of consoles fail).
  18. While the 2600 may have done its fair share of innovation in its time. It almost single-handedly destroyed the industry with its own incompetence. The N64 in many ways showed the way to make games transition from 2D to 3D, and for my money has one of the best creme of the crop game lineups of ANY console.
  19. Why do I continue to shoot myself in the foot. Our major assignment for TV Doc. is due on Tuesday, I need to take care of some filming still. I went today to sign a camera out for the weekend....and they're all booked out. Since the weekend this week stretches from Thursday night-Tuesday morning I wont be able to get any filming done unless I luck out big time.

Heh. "Boobless." Nice. Nothing like dropping in a Family Guy joke when the situation calls.
