I think he has a valid point with the first point. There was the very significant chance that the plan could backfire horribly, and the nukes could still fly. Too big of a risk for Veidt. IMHO, the script you've chosen sounds pretty interesting, and you have two nights to find the people you want/need. There is that whole having it out with the other directors thing, but I'm sure you can sufficiently beat the other directors into submission. ^^ Admittedly, I don't know how large of a pool you have to choose from, but I'm sure you'll find the people you're looking for.

Did he give any reason for it? I'm curious to know his thought process. Dan: That's an interesting observation. I think it's primarily because when you involve the government like in espionage movies, there's, in peoples' minds, a clear-cut difference between right and wrong, not to mention that the government must always know what's right. But then you've got individual people involved in it, with no government involvement whatsoever, and the moral distinctions get a bit less clearer.

I can see that happening. Though that didn't happen at our showing (but that might be because it was a midnight showing). There are so many little musical easter eggs.

Title sequence is for the artistic awesome win. A sidenote: We went to the midnight showing with at least two people who had not read the source material, and they liked it, though they were a little confused by .
