Guest
How are Final Fantasy Adventure and Secret of Mana related?
James D.
Final Fantasy Adventure was actually the first part of the Mana series. I don't remember why they called it "Final Fantasy", but yeah, it's the precursor to Secret of Mana.
Guest
If you wanted to be more specific, Secret is the direct sequel to Adventure. Seiken Densetsu was originally a Final Fantasy spin-off series, hence the name. Oh, and you were right.
James D.
Name two of the four Soundgarden songs that appeared on Road Rash for the original Playstation.
Guest
I'm going to guess Black Hole Sun and Spoonman, which are the only two Soundgarden songs I know of.

James D.
I'm afraid to ask why you'd think that. Because you're dark and foreboding~.
Guest
I swear to Chrono, you post some personal stuff in an Oratory thread THREE YEARS AGO and you have a gimmick for life. Don't make me quit this place too, damn you! :grumble:
James D.
You won't quit. You still have to co-write the eventual Saw V review with yours truly. So ANYWAY...hint for the question at hand. Two of the Soundgarden songs that were in the game were on the Badmotorfinger album and two were from Superunknown.
James D.
Okay, the answers were: Superunknown, Kickstand, Outshined and Rusty Cage. New question: What was the name of the final boss in Marvel VS. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes?

Guest
Alright, keeping with the same theme. In fighting game terminology, what is a "cancel"?
Guest
A cancel is the premature interuption of an action for the purpose of executing another one, and it is the basis for most combo theory. For example, Ken executes two crouching light kicks canceled into a medium strength Shoryuken (2LK 2LK -->MP Shoryuken), meaning that the command for the Dragon Punch is in before the second kick finishes animating, resulting in three or four hits, depending on the game. Now for an easier one. Name the RPG series that is so popular in Japan that its publisher will only release new games on weekends to prevent kids from skipping school. I'm guessing either Earthbound or Final fantasy.

Shinmaru
It's Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior in the States until recently).
Aaron Robinson
I should be paying more attention to this thread; the last couple of questions were ones I could actually get right.

Shinmaru
This one shouldn't be too difficult if you know your Zelda. There is a secret room in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Who is it named after in the Super Nintendo version, and why?
Guest
It was after you beat the game, there's an absurdly hidden room named after a kid (Chris something) that just had a bunch of treasure in it. Can't remember his last name. I know he won a contest to get into the game because I tried the same damn thing and lost.
