Chops Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 Since we've already done comic and movie trivia, I thought it's time to have a go with video games. Usual rules apply; -Wait for confirmation of your answer before posting a new question -48 hour rule in effect -Honor code that you don't look up answers on the internet So, since I'm in an oldschool mood, Name five characters that appeared in the Street Fighter series that were orignally from Final Fight, and Poison does not count as one. James D. Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 Guy Sodom Maki Rolento Cody Final Fight was such a criminally underrated series. Quote
Chops Posted February 5, 2006 Author Report Posted February 5, 2006 You're right, Hugo was also acceptable. I agree with you about final fight being underrated, everyone gives love for Streets of Rage, when Final Fight was out for 2 full years before SoR, and SoR rips everything off of Final Fight. Quote
James D. Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 Although Tidus is the lead character in the Final Fantasy X story, he is the only character whose name is never spoken by anyone in the entire game. Why is this? (I'm looking for a specific answer.) Quote
Chops Posted February 5, 2006 Author Report Posted February 5, 2006 He is the only character in the game whose name has the option of being changed by the player, so his name is never spoken because the game would have to be able to say whatever name a player comes up with. Quote

Correct. This is because FFX was the first FF game to feature voice acting. Quote
Chops Posted February 5, 2006 Author Report Posted February 5, 2006 What was the first arcade game released on Capcom's Proprietary Hardware CPS(Capcom Play System). Quote
Kscriv Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 SUpere Street Fighter II Turbo, correct? Was it one of the SF II games? Quote
Chops Posted February 5, 2006 Author Report Posted February 5, 2006 Nope, and I will say this, it was not any street fighter game. Infact SF2 was released in 1991, if my memory is correct, making the CPS hardware 3 years old at that point. Quote
Chops Posted February 6, 2006 Author Report Posted February 6, 2006 Nope, here's a hint: It was the first, and one of the only, arcade games that allowed players to buy items and powerups from a shop in each level. Quote
Chops Posted February 7, 2006 Author Report Posted February 7, 2006 You are correct, and let me say I Forgotten Worlds Quote

James D. Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 I'm gonna go ahead and post the next question since I know I'm right (being that I'm a Darkstalkers fanboy and all). How many characters made their first appearance (in the MVC series) in Marvel VS. Capcom 2 for the Dreamcast? Also name them. Quote
Chops Posted February 13, 2006 Author Report Posted February 13, 2006 Well since it's been over 48 hours, I'll go ahead and ask a question. Even though Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo was the first and only game in that series, why was it called number 2. I'm looking for a specific answer. Quote
