slothian
http://cube.ign.com/articles/514/514645p1.html Thoughts? Mine are basically that StarFox/Lylat Wars games should always lean more heavily towards the flight element rather than the Fox-based platform shoot-em-up. I thought the game that Rare produced was NOT a Starfox game
Missy
Star Fox should be all flight-based gaming. Period.

Mr. Keith
If you gotta have on ground battles in the game, put about as much of it in the game as the amount of flight missions that Rare put in Star Fox Adentures. Very, very little.

Thanks Yeah, I actually really liked Star Fox Adventures, but the one thing that annoyed me off was that they didn't at least give one full on stage where you got to have a flight battle. Not just some 30 second battle where all you have to do is go through some rings. If they had, I wouldn't mind this too much, but obviously that never happened. I also hope this tdoesn't turn out like the Star Wars: Rogue Leader on ground battles, which was one of the main reasons I never purchased that game. :bang:
Mr. Keith
Yeah, it's a large bump, but figured I might as well put it in here rather than make a new thread. I heard you can rent this game early(Febuary 1st, I believe) at stores like Blockbuster and Hollywood video here in the US, so does anyone plan on giving this an early rental? Skyre
Star Fox should be all flight-based gaming. Period. I agree with that. They shouldn't have changed the game to a ground based fighting game.
Mr. Keith
Rented it; played a couple stages into it and there's waaaaaaaaay too many on-ground missions in it, which really hurts the game.

Crud, I was considering buying it. Ah well, looks like I'm *stuck* getting Ace Combat 5 for my fill of flying.
