Aaron Robinson
A few weeks ago I picked up A Game of Thrones, the first entry in the series A Song of Ice and Fire. I bought it after hearing people rant about it on a few different forums. I haven't picked up a book in years, so I thought it would be an interesting starting point, since I'm not normally one for fantasy novels. I have to say, I really enjoyed it. The characters were great, and I'm intrigued to see what happens in the next entry. My only complaint is that George R.R Martin tends to be overly descriptive about mundane details. I also read through I Am Legend. I spoiled myself early on about the plot, but I still enjoyed it. It was nice to read through such a short novel after reading through A Game of Thrones. So how about everyone else?
Dread
I just finished reading the unedited proof of my buddy, and forum member, Keith Latch's novel Cemetery Things. And it's tight and fast-paced. I think I'll need to slow down and un-intensify (new word?) a little bit so I'm finally getting to Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman (a present from 2 Christmases ago...). It's kind of a fantasy/comedy and an unofficial sequel to American Gods. I'm not quite sure what to make of it at this point yet. It's not anywhere near as funny as Good Omens. ragernok2002
I am currently reading Dexter in the Dark, then I'm on to World War Z and a Michael Connolly book of short stories
Shinmaru
Right now I'm reading A Year at the Movies by Kevin Murphy, which is really interesting even if Kevin's kind of a film snob (in a good way, though, not in an asshole-ish way). Not a novel, but I figure it counts. After that I'll be reading Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami and American Gods by Neil Gaiman. Anansi Boys has its moments but yeah its not as funny as Good Omens. I just finished reading The Game a autobiographical novel about pickup artists. I think I might reread Fight Club or Starship Troopers.

Murakami hasn't let me down yet, so I think I will like it. But, I randomly started reading Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail '72 by Hunter S. Thompson, so it'll be a bit before I get to it, haha.

annericelover
Angels & Demons by Dan Brown The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown Do yourself a favor and just read one. They're both the same. Well Ron Howard and Tom Hanks are currently in negotiations to adapt Angels and Demons(this goes along with Tom Hanks negotiating to return as Forrest Gump in the Gump and Co adaptation).
