Missy
If you don't know how these "favorite / best" polls work, allow me to explain: first you choose your favorite film by the director (in this case Robert Rodriguez), then you choose his best film. As I've said before, yes, there is a difference! Today we're looking at Robert Rodriguez. Note: Planet Terror is included because, despite having been half of Grindhouse, it is a feature-length film directed by Rodriguez. Whereas Four Rooms was omitted because he only directed a segment. Guest
Wow. I've only seen two of these. Null.
James D.
Sin City is my answer to both, but From Dusk 'Till Dawn is up there, too.
Dread
FDTD will always be the film that has blown me away more than any other. Favorite. Undoubtedly, Sin City's his best.
Stavros
Sin City is the best, but Desperado is my favorite. Tonnes of awesome gun battles plus naked Selma Hayek, who can complain about that?
JackFetch
Well crap. I meant to put Desperado as my favorite, not El Mariachi. Sin City is obviously his best movie, but I love Salma Hayek in Desperado. She was never that hot in any other movie.

Missy
I'm torn here. Sin City is easily his best, and might be my favorite. But From Dusk Till Dawn is full of awesome. Hmm... I need to think about this.

I need to think about this. Drinking tequila dripped off Salma Hayak's legs. No more need to think!

Guest
To be fair, the number of female movie stars I find attractive can be counted on one hand.
Chops
Sin City for both, although the 3 mariachi movies are up there too.
Missy
It took me a while, but I voted Sin City for both. It's simply a masterpiece.
Luke
Favourite- Desperado, closely followed by Once Upon a Time in Mexico. Best- Sin City, for its goodness and success.
Dan
Favorite: Desperado. For all of the reasons already mentioned. Best: I had to go with Sin City. It's a great movie, although at times I feel like it's easier to admire than it is to actually enjoy.
Malpractice
Desperado, El Mariachi, and From Dusk Till Dawn are really his only good movies. Sin City was complete and utter garbage. It was like a handbook on how to not adapt something to the big screen.

Care to elaborate? It was a perfect adaptation in my mind.
Aaron Robinson
Sin City was pretty much everything I wanted it to be. So that gets my vote. I did enjoy Desperado and From Dusk Till Dawn though.

Missy
Sure, I can see that. The next one (if it ever comes out) will be more focused.

I'm not knocking what you said, but I'd like to hear an explanation to that.
