Dread
God! I'm old. I just realized that I need music to play in the slideshow for this year's graduation and I'm so damned out of touch that I can only think of one. They must be upbeat, swear-free, hip and easily stealable from the interwebs. Suggestions? Right now I've got Jason Mraz with "I'm Yours." The theme is dreams...or something. SuaveStar
The Sunscreen song. It would be a straight rip off from the video, but it is a nice thought provoking song..... God I'm old too.

The advice one? Geez...I think they played that at my grad. Yikes.

Dread
One that 18-20 year olds are going to like
Koete
Wait, you're supposed to like the music at graduation?
SuaveStar
Are you sure I can't convince you with the sunscreen song. Also how about the Jeffersons theme?
Doug
Goodbye (Kristina Debarge), Im Yours (Jason Mraz) or I got a feeling (Black eyed peas).

Molly
I'm sure there's something lame and kitschy on the new Green Day album.
dc20willsave
Maybe it's just where I grew up, but "Yesterday" by The Beatles always works.

I gotta say, after a few listens, the new Green Day album grew on me. Not as good as American Idiot, but still pretty good.

Nicolette Opal
I think it might be easier to go for the cliche than to try to please everyone. That said, "Good Riddance" from Green Day's Nimrod or "I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlan are terrifically cliche graduation songs. Venneh
Well, if we're going for horribly cliche, then the Vitamin C song "Graduation" should just about do it.

We built this city on rock and roll, you know. I went with Jason Mraz and the limited number of pictures fit perfectly with the song length after adding in some cheesy dream quotes. Im going to pretend that you picked this song because I suggested it. It helps my confidence.
