  1. I had to watch it in two sittings. I ultimately enjoyed it BUT My reaction to The Star Beast on the other was pretty much @Donomark’s to Wild Blue Yonder verbatim:
  2. Wish: To be covered in the last proper episode of Part of Your World next year before it goes on hiatus. Saying more would be revealing too much. 🤐
  3. Men in Black's probably a must and definitely a classic. Maybe King Richard (the film he won Best Actor for on that fateful night) or even Emancipation (his first post-Slapgate film). I didn't dislike your Seven Pounds review (or the initial episode as a whole) but Pursuit of Happiness seems like the natural replacement for it (though it does have Jaden in it).
  4. Considering some of his super recent roles (including Renfield and Dream Scenario), Nicolas Cage is certainly viable (plus he's a goldmine for jingles and parodies). Same with Michelle Yeoh due to Everything Everywhere All At Once. I don't remember you enjoying any of the films you did for Ian McKellen month, so it wouldn't hurt to give him another go (and yes, you can do the film you and I covered but haven't released the review of @slothian).
  5. Oppenheimer over Jaws (at least for now) and Shinnin' over Singin'. Treasure Planet vs. Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2
  6. Good Will Hunting for his early career and The Martian for his more recent output (he's good in Oppenheimer, but that would be better for a Cillian Murphy or RDJ month). Maybe The Bourne Identity for the Noughties.
  7. Richard Moll dies at 80. Granted, I know him almost exclusively as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, but his performance as the character is criminally underrated and I don't doubt he was great in other stuff.
  8. The House That Dripped Blood - Watched it based on Channel 37’s review of it last year. Me likey. The Raven (1963) - Directed and produced by Roger Corman, written by Richard Matheson, and starring Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, Boris Karloff, and baby Jack Nicholson. @Dan @Missy @dc20willsave @Mr Mockery — please, please — PUH-LEASE — cover this on Channel 37 someday. It’s insane!

  10. The Emperor’s New Groove vs Deadpool Also — this is an obvious one but might as well ask it — Barbie vs Oppenheimer
  11. Neil Patrick Harris’ character has apparently been revealed.
  12. Fair enough. Plus, even if I gave you a rundown of them in the episode, Dominion is supposed to conclude a trilogy and tie back to the first film, so it wouldn't be the easiest film to follow and review without having seen the others. (The other sequels aren't great either, but I'm not sure they're bad enough to be Tirades-worthy.)
  13. If you'd like to cover Jurassic World: Dominion, I'll throw my hat in for that one.
  14. I’ll third Chasing Amy (in part because you haven’t covered any Kevin Smith films yet and for the discussion to be had about it) and heartily second Hollywoodland — not only because he (kind of) gets to play Superman but because it’s a fascinating unsolved(?) mystery.
  15. Finally saw it just now, and I’m inclined to agree.
  16. My word...Kevin AND Arleen...😢
  17. Fantasia 2000 vs Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home OR Fantasia 2000 vs Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
