  1. Congratulations! And it's not like you can really choose when your relatives have sex in any case. I'm 34 and my cousins were all born between 1967 and 1995 (So they'll be 25-53 this year?). And I'll bet that is far from being the widest age disparity for board users either.
  2. As announced on Episode 72, to mark the April release of Bond 25 "No Time to Die", and with FYEO not coming back any time soon, the Brothers Wilson intend to mark the month by covering 3 non-Bond films by one of the main men to hold the mantle*. So, vote for who you would like us to cover and the winner will be announced this month/next episode during Episode 73. *Not Lazenby - we need actors with FILMOGRAPHIES.
  3. Yes, you can help influence not only the film Pandy & I use as the joint review, but the homework we assign each other to plot the range of their career. As announced in Episode 72, our subject will be Cameron Diaz. Pandy & I will take an executive decision on what makes the joint review by Friday 21 February so get your ideas in before then! NB) We will not be covering The Mask.
  4. Not really. Especially in MacDowell's case.
  5. No, that's a different promotion although the talent is very much the same. As it turns out, I'm busy that evening so I can't go and see it. As for the evening itself, I felt at one with the audience - mostly overweight men in t-shirts with questionable grooming. Highligh was Eddie Kingston of TNA/ROH/CZW/PWG fame being in a No DQ match with the local Mick Foley-ish guy Rory Coyle and brawling right next to me in the crowd, to the extent that I saw the brutality of chops upfront before Kingston grabbed an empty beer can and twatted Coyle across the head with it. Coyle would ultimately win with a Samoa drop-esque move onto a VCR, having used VHS tapes as props during the match. Everything else was basically solid. I briefly said hello to Tom in the nearby pub afterwards but after he advised someone else was getting his drinks in and as he had someone else to talk to, I withdrew, saying that I'd drop him a tweet instead (which he almost immediately responded to - what a guy!)
  6. I'm at my first local fed show (North Wrestling) which involves Cultaholic's Tom Campbell as ring announcer/commentator and Botchamania's Maffew as co-commentator. Bought an early ticket, so I've just seen Tom host a warm-up quiz before the show starts in 10 minutes.
  7. Seconded. I'm fine with a match with Orton at WM as that writes itself. Afterwards, Edge can get into other feuds without the need for MITB. Personally I want to see Edge/Bryan, even if Bryan's only recently turned face and they'd be boneheaded to turn Edge heel anytime soon. More realistically, I'm thinking Edge/Rollins, given the Authority angle with Rollins threatening to curb stomp him into paralysis when retired.
  8. I agree with all of that. And as much as what happened to Kofi was bullshit, that clearly wasn't Brock's decision. 30 years ago, that would absolutely have been Hogan's decision (especially given the whole Bubba Love Sponge thing).
  9. I mean, we know that. But you'd best leave Dave Ahab to hunt his white whale all over the frozen wasteland of Manitoba.
  10. The Man who directed one of the greatest comedy films of all time (Life of Brian). Also, I saw him give a promotional talk in 2004 about his book about the mysterious death of Chaucer and he was very engaging.
  11. Guardians of the Galaxy vs To Kill A Mockingbird
  12. I need to rewatch that, because Des reviewed it alongside Phantom of Paradise and thought SOF was the second coming, whereas I heavily preferred POP.
  13. FFS Mike - BRADLEY WALSH HAS LASER SHOES!!! 100/10

As announced in Episode 71, our subject will be Sylvester Stallone. Pandy & I will take an executive decision on what makes the joint review by Friday 24 January so get your ideas in before then! NB) We will not be covering Judge Dredd.
  15. I will rely on my lovely Flickchart for this: Best 2010: True Grit 2011: Tyrannosaur 2012: Les Miserables 2013: Gravity 2014: Guardians of the Galaxy 2015: Mad Max: Fury Road 2016: Deadpool 2017: Dunkirk 2018: Green Book 2019: John Wick Chapter 3 (it turns out I saw all of 4 new films in 2019 - yikes!) Favourite 2010: Black Death 2011: Bernie 2012: Skyfall 2013: Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa 2014: John Wick 2015: Mad Max: Fury Road 2016: Deadpool 2017: Ghost Stories 2018: Black Panther 2019: John Wick Chapter 3
  16. Excellent twist - so glad I wasn't spoiled!
  17. The Fugitive: First time watching, despite it being one of the biggest films of the 90s. Loved the cat and mouse interplay between Tommy Lee Jones & team (including Joey Pants) and Harrison Ford. The latter gets to show his intelligence to stay one step ahead of capture whilst hunting for the one-armed man, but without making TLJ & Co look stupid or bad at their job. The dam stunt came much earlier than I expected, but there was plenty to keep the film ticking along. Also intersting to see Stacey from House as the late Mrs Kimble. Entertaining film which very much embodies 90s movies.
  18. This podcast has caught SO many things that I haven't noticed in my past readings (3-4 times since I bought the collected series in anticipation of the movie for Comic Reel-ief).
  19. Greetings from the Brothers Wilson! Pandy's having a rest before he serves pudding.
