Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Don't think he did anything special for the PC world? Fine, lets look at animation. What's that, it wasn't him, but the team he had. Ok maybe fair point. Let's look at how we listen to music. What's that, he didn't invent mp3 players, he just made them pretty. Ok you got me, let's look at the mobile phones.... The point is, even if you don't want to give the man credit for inventing any new technology, it doesn't matter. He knew what was important, how to make new technology easy to use. Computers, portable music, phones all these industries are better because of this guy. One is lucky, two might be riding your own coat tails, but to totally revolutionise 3 or 4 different parts of the world is an amazing achievement.

Fat Russell Crowe was your tipping point? Honestly? It was more the costume, but yeah, those sets of pictures had me intrigued about how they were going to create Krypton. And his goatee, I have in my mind that the El's are these pure clean cut people, not people with goatees with grey tips. But hey, feel free to focus on the negative if you like, this is the internet after all so you'll fit right in.

Just saw this, and maybe it was the heightened expectations from hearing everyone rave about it, but I thought it was middle of the road entertaining. Not sure if they meant it, or it was an accident, but the ending seemed to be a tip of the hat to 12 Monkeys, which would be awesome if it was deliberate.

The show has changed, from having all those really good subtle messages, to just being entertaining and not caring about character development as much. It's just as much an indicator of the times we're in, more so than the creators. Considering the massive pay increase the actors got a few years ago, I doubt the 45% is going to send them broke.

Jackman punch was stiff but apparently didn't break anything, it's a work. Watching Jackman on RAW just rams home how hard it is to be a good pro wrestler. For a guy who is used to performing in front of a live audience, even he looked a little lost at times.
