  1. R.I.P., sir. You were a gentleman and an icon.
  2. Happy birthday, dude. Thanks again for that awesome reply to you-know-who (no, not our You Know Who) that I had to unfortunately delete.
  3. Indeed. Thank you for adding pages for redlinks. I've been dreading making a Superman: Doomsday page forever since the movie isn't really bad, but mediocre, and I remember so very little about it.
  4. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think Chad Bradford would be mentioned, let alone have a picture of him posted, on this forum.
  5. Did you have to get an agent for your book? Because I keep reading on all the publisher websites I visit that they don't take "unsolicited submissions."
  6. Six months, 40,000+ words and 79 pages in my word processor later, I've finished my book. It is a reference book of sorts--a thesaurus for middle and high school students that defines synonyms one by one and explains logical places to use them instead of just blindly picking them out of a Roget's. My mother is proofreading it for me--former English teacher and all that. I hope to be able to self publish it soon.
  7. It's not the images I worry about. I don't mind there being a Romeo and Juliet page but it can't just be copied from somewhere else and have one line thrown in trying to be snarky.
  8. FYI: I may have to delete a couple of these new pages just because they don't really have much context or relation to the podcast. I did delete the Romeo and Juliet page because it was copy/pasted directly from another source (Wikipedia?).
  9. And because NO ONE demanded it, Nicolas Cage and Hayden Christensen are starring in a movie together.
  10. In fairness, I haven't finished anything, and I've barely started a couple of them.
  11. It's been at least ten years since I watched Lola Rennt, so if I watched it again, I might have a different opinion on it.
  12. Hell yeah. Congrats, man. I eagerly await the feeling of finishing my first book.
  13. That was the most asininely booked Royal Rumble I have ever seen. Which is saying a ton considering last year's debacle.
  14. Unfortunately, I can't make it this year. New job working a lot more hours, and I have training around that time that I can't miss.
  15. Thanks, everyone. The actual day sucked balls, but I'll be having my belated birthday dinner Monday.

    Randomness

As some of you know, I'm writing a reference book to help middle and high school students write better papers (just hit 20,000 words, btw) and I noticed that in my list of words to avoid, these two were back-to-back: Loud Love So, I got a Soundgarden reference into my book without even trying. Bonus.
  17. The Sony Playstation debuted 20 years ago today.
  18. Damien and I about a week ago said we would never subject ourselves to that bloated mess.
