Did you have to get an agent for your book? Because I keep reading on all the publisher websites I visit that they don't take "unsolicited submissions."

Six months, 40,000+ words and 79 pages in my word processor later, I've finished my book. It is a reference book of sorts--a thesaurus for middle and high school students that defines synonyms one by one and explains logical places to use them instead of just blindly picking them out of a Roget's. My mother is proofreading it for me--former English teacher and all that. I hope to be able to self publish it soon.

FYI: I may have to delete a couple of these new pages just because they don't really have much context or relation to the podcast. I did delete the Romeo and Juliet page because it was copy/pasted directly from another source (Wikipedia?).

As some of you know, I'm writing a reference book to help middle and high school students write better papers (just hit 20,000 words, btw) and I noticed that in my list of words to avoid, these two were back-to-back: Loud Love So, I got a Soundgarden reference into my book without even trying. Bonus.

Can someone please explain the logic of looting and vandalizing businesses at all, let alone on one's own community? You're protesting violence against someone by committing violent/destructive acts against people and their property? You're also causing people to lose their jobs. How is that supposed to help anyone, again?
