  1. Ok so I haven't been feeling well and than I found out some great news and posted it. It's been put into the "Comic Book Adaptation" section, go check it out. It does involve something in the DCAU. Congrats on your Wii Bowling experience Mike, I've seen it posted, but since I have no Nintendo Wii, so it's like I'm teasing myself to read about others experience with Wii games. I loved the last episode of "Legion of Super-Heroes" that was incredible. Wow, Corey Burton isn't the same Brainiac, but he still instills chills, like in his DCAU self, can't wait for the Series Finale. I'm sorry Mike, but the new Spider-Man series isn't the best. I just can't get into it. It'll never be better than the FOX Spider-Man series in the 1990's. I hope that with the new PG-13: DC Animated Series, that Bruce Timm and Co. decide to adapt Justice League: Tower of Babel to their line of feature films. I still have to read the book, but from your escription of the story, it would be kick ass. Is "The Nail" available on as a collected story? The Long Halloween being on Showtime or HBO, may be cool. WHAT!!!! Jeremy Sisto was great. He's no Kevin Conroy, but still it was great. Your welcome Mike on the backing up. You have to remember that Lex Luthor owns half of Metropolis, so perhaps, he kept her on the air. I love the shudder you gave James when saying The Justice League pilot, I guess you saw it, lol. I LOVE THE SAW FILMS, well like them anyways. Target, I could never get into this episode, this episode does introduce another DCAU created villain Edward Lightner(Luminus) and also introduces Detective Bowman, but that's about it. This episode seems to have no real reason to be made, except to teach Lois that she should treat everyone as equal(which she never does). Scooby-Doo is much better than this episode, but I do agree with your comparison. If you noticed that whole elevator sequence seemed to be more of a Superman II homage(in Superman II, Lois ends up in an elevator with a bomb and as the elevator is hurrying to the top, Superman stops it, saying "Lady, I believe this is your floor"). The character of Edward Lightner(Luminus)is boring, terrible and unnecessary.OMG, the laser beam sequence is annoying, if you notice the beams keep getting closer, but when we see Superman its not as close anymore, than she's squeezing in again. Annoying.... My score on this is 4 out of 10. Mxyzpixilated, Ha, Ha...MY FAVORITE episode of S: TAS, my favorite villain too. Gilbert Gottfried is excellent as the voice of Mr. Mxyzpixilit(did I spell that right?). So cartoony, it fits so well with this series and really can appeal to both Kids and Adults. The animation is stellar, the voice acting is great. Kudas to Andrea Romano, for providing another great voice to the DCAU. This will get from me 10 out of 10, I just love it so much and can watch it over and over again and still laugh all the time. Action Figures, great episode any episode with Malcolm McDowell as Metallo is great. In this episode, we see the good that Metallo does have inside him, even though he does have amnesia. You kind of feel bad, because he has made a relationship with the two kids and the kids do feel that he is good. The kids in the episode are great and because of them, you have someone closer to your age(when your a kid)to understand with. I give this 7 out of 10. Double Dose, I actually like this episode. The Parasite isn't one of my favorite characters, but Livewire is a favorite of mine and they make an interesting team. The animation is pretty decent and the ending is just WOW, in terms of what happens to Parasite. My biggest gripe with this, is that even after all this, he still gets to keep his Cable TV. 5 out of 10 Solar Power, Okay, terrible, terrible episode. I just hate this character and the episodes he's put in are just..eww. The only thing that this episode gives us is one of the first indications on what is Superman's power source. I think even owning the sets, I watched this episode a total of 4 times(once when it first aired, 2nd during a rerun, 3 when I first bought the set and 4th when I watched it for this podcast). 2 out of 10.
  2. Yes, Warner Brothers has finally decided to release The Birds of Prey on DVD, it will include Special Features, one of which is every episode of the DCAU's Gotham Girls(yes, WFP, you will have a DVD set to review from). Here is the link for the full story: http://www.TVShowsOnDVD.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=9302
  3. Are you going to seperate it in eras, like: Sean Connery Era Roger Moore Era Timothy Daltron era Pierce Bronson era I forget the new guys name and the original Black & White film Casino Royale(not the spoof or remake)from 1961. There's also the Austin Power spoofs and James Bond Jr.
  4. I'm actually interested in seeing how they pull this off. Obviously Pamela Voorhees will have to be featured in the beginning, trying to avenge the "death" of her son, by killing and than she is killed and we see someone watching, than the credits. They need to stay away from "Zombie" Jason, keep him alive, so there is an actual reason to bring him back. He was a living breathing killer in parts II-1V. He didn't become an unstoppable killing machine until part VI.
  5. Ok, so I'm going to attempt to start a Youtube Series, where I review films on DVD, show a few notable scenes and review the DVD itself. I will also review TV Shows as a whole and Video Games. If you would like a film, that I may have on DVD or Blu-Ray reviewed, please send me a message and if I have it, I'll review it. If I don't have it, I'll try and get it(I am unemployed right now, so money's tight). Currently all I have is a webcam/mic combo. When I am able to save up money, I will be getting a video camera to show better resolution. Wish me luck....this is my first. And thank you to Mike, James and Jenn for the podcasts(WFP and Earth-2.net:the show) that have pushed me to give this a try. Here is the link to my DVD collection. Some DVD's I got aren't on here because it was never available on DVD, so I'll be revewing those on my own(and no there not typical bootlegs): http://www.dvdspot.com/member=annericelover
  6. Well thank you, I've been through what I'm going through, but it's always hard...Have a good night.
  7. What? You mean you can't? I have one TV, and I lost my extra six arms in the war. If that's what he played all month, then okay, but no one plays that many games, I mean really plays them, in the span of a week. EDIT: And his list is suspect anyway, since Sonic CD isn't on the Mega Collection, it's on the Sonic Gems Collection. And there is no Earthworm Jim 2 for the N64. There's Earthworm Jim 3D. My bad you're right, Earthworm 3-D for N64 and Sonic 3-D Blast on the Nintendo Gamecube. I was confused about the Sonic game because they have the Sonic CD beginning and ending intro and outro. I'm not playing them all at once, that's impossible, but after a little while I'll stop a game and switch to another and so on. Giving each game I'm in the middle of enough time. I haven't been doing too well(health-wise), so I have the time to waste.
  8. Super Nintendo: Super Mario II: Yoshi's Island Nintendo 64: Mario Party III Earthworm Jim II Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask(with Lingular Card) OO7: Tomorrow Never Dies(no Rumble Pak ) Nintendo Gamecube: Sonic the Hedgehog III (on Sonic: The Mega Collection) Sonic & Knuckles (on Sonic: The Mega Collection) Sonic Spinball(on Sonic: The Mega Collection) Sonic CD(on Sonic: The Mega Collection) Super Mario Sunshine Dead To Rights Playstation II: Sonic Heroes Rocky Streetfighter: Anniversary Collection Spider-Man II Playstation III: Spider-Man III Super Gameboy: Super Mario Land
  9. Yeah, lol he comes back as a ghost in his old house, where a new family lives and Ghost Hunters come to flush him out.
  10. I already did this, but I guess it was erased or something, not sure. Anyway, Scott Scanlon's character died. He became jealous and felt left out when David began to become popular with the 90210 group(meaning Brenda, Brandon, etc)and at his birthday party, he tried impressing David by showing David his gun skills and accidently shot himself. The end of the episode actually ended with a cliffhanger, so at the time you didn't know who was shot, but it turned out to be Scott. This incident gave his younger sister some Story time in some of the season and than they were forgotten. What they should do is bring back the sister character as the mother of the Hills family or as a teacher and she has some mental problem from the sexual abuse she incurred in the original series by her Uncle and by the death of her brother.
  11. Well I'll be crossing my fingers for y'all.
  12. Don't worry about it you guys, just take care of yourselves and come back when you can. I'm a little sick myself. Hope you two feel better and don't take on too much
  13. I know that the "Silver" family are related to David Silver(Brian Austin Green)and Tori Spelling has said she wants to reprise her role as Donna Martin-Silver.
  14. I liked it until maybe 1 or 2 Seasons after Brenda(Shannon Doherty) left(and that was for Tiffany Amber-Thiessan, who seemed to mature quickly after Saved by the Bell). The best storyline from the early years was when Dylan's father was thought to have been blown up and he started dating the daughter of the man who killed his father.
  15. Ok, I'm guessing not a lot of people on this forum liked or even tried to watch the original series, but I did and I quite enjoyed it. Many shows now a days that focus on drama and life issues(Gilmore Girls, 7th Heaven, Gossip Girls)have taken ques from this show, but was never as good(I did like 7th Heaven, but the others sucked). Here is basically the rundown on the story: The Hollywood Reporter announced on March 13, 2008 that the CW network is developing a contemporary spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210. According to Nellie Andreeva with The Hollywood Reporter, "Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas is in talks to pen the project, which has been put on the fast track by the network." The story also noted that original 90210 creator Darren Star is not involved with the project. Kristin Dos Santos confirmed on her "Watch with Kristin" blog at E! Online that the show is indeed a spinoff with completely new characters, and not a remake. While not officially linked to the project, Tori Spelling has publically expressed interest in possibly reprising her character of Donna Martin-Silver on the new version of the show. Further details of the 2008 spinoff have emerged as The Hollywood Reporter announced on March 19, 2008 that the CW has begun casting even before a script has been completed. According to Nellie Andreeva with The Hollywood Reporter, the producing studio CBS Paramount Television (which absorbed original series production studio Spelling Television), is eying an April 3, 2008 production start date and the casting sides provide the following preliminary character information: Characters The series will focus on The Mills family. Tabitha Mills, the matriarch of the family, is a 60ish actress (and alcoholic), who was very famous during the 1970s. Her son, Harrison "Harry" Mills, a graduate of Beverly Hills High, decides to move back to 90210; accepting a position as the principal at his old high school. His wife, Celia Mills, was an Olympic athlete but is now working as a personal trainer. The Mills have two 16 year old children: Annie Mills- An emo/theater kid, who wants to fit in with the cool crowd. Dixon Mills- A smart bad boy with behavioral issues. The character Dixon will likely be of a minority background, with producers looking for actors of any race/ethnicity to fill the role. Other characters include: Daphne "Silver" Silver- Described as a "wannabe socialite with her own Youtube series." She becomes quick friends with Annie and grows a crush on her brother Dixon. Max Silver- Daphne's 24 year old, older brother, that manages their family's movie theater at "Century Mall." The character is said to have secrets and on the brink of a nervous breakdown. Both Max and Daphne have the last name of "Silver," which was the surname of David Silver (played by Brian Austin Green) and Donna Martin-Silver (played by Tori Spelling) in the original series. Whether or not they're related has yet to be determined, but Rob Thomas has confirmed that there will be a connection between both shows. An original cast member is set to reprise their role, but who that may be is currently unknown because none of the former cast members have been contacted yet. Rob Thomas also hopes to include the 50s style, Peach Pit, from the original series, in later episodes. Three other teen characters include: Navid Shirazi- The high school's politico and runs the daily newscast. His character is supposed to be of Middle-Eastern descent. Ethan Ward- Described as a "likeable jock" that falls out of the popular group and befriends the 90210 crew. Naomi Bennett- A spoiled and attractive rich kid and Ethan's ex-girlfriend; she will appear to be a brat at first but will have more layers as the show goes on.
  16. This is a common fallacy. Despite the prominance of the character in the early days of the Master System, he was never considered an official mascot by Sega. That honor went to a character by the name of Opa Opa from the game Fantasy Zone. Then, of course, it became Sonic shortly after. Your right, Opa Opa and Alex Kidd have a game in common, but Opa Opa was considered the mascot. It's just because Alex Kidd had more games I guess is why there was that mistake. Both games I never played, I would like too, but the old GameStop, EB Games shops don't sell "Old School" Games anymore Did you try eBay? Or even Amazon; sites like those will usually turn something up. Not if you don't have a credit card...

  18. Huge bump, I know, but I don't remember too much about Alex the Kid. I wasn't introduced to Sega, until Genesis came out and only recently found out about Sega's 8-Bit days. I do know that Alex The Kid is considered the very first Sega mascot and went up against Mario as top Mascot, but since Mario kicked ass, they invented Sonic and Mario than had speedy competition.
  19. Now, I will attempt to give my opinions on the TV and Film Adaptations of TMNT. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987-Animated This was the series that most people 20 years old and up first viewed of this "Ninja Team. " From the moment the theme song starts with it kick ass sound(yea it had me dancing when I was 5) to the last episode, we get great storytelling and some fun Saturday mornings. It ran from 1987 to 1996, had 10 Seasons, 194 Episodes(this was in the days, when a studio decided to keep a hot show running passed 65). Voice acting was great and really matched with the characters they were placed on. This being a cartoon was toned a little lighter than the comic book it was based on, but is not considered canon to the Mirage Comic. It also helped introduce us to catchphrases like "Cowabanga" and "Turtle Power. " The animation was good for its day and like most Superhero(using the term loosely)shows at the time it appeared in a very colorful way. Implamenting, the Turtle Blimp, Turtle Van, etc. We were also introdoced to characters like The Rat King, Baxter Stockman and Krang who are not shown in the feature films. One of the many changes that were made in the first film(other than tone and more adult situations)was how Splinter came to be Splinter. Here he is called Humato Yoshi and is exciled to NYC, when Shredder cause Yoshi to not bow to his their Sensai, therefore dishonoring him. When in NYC sewers, he makes friends with Sewer Rats. When he comes across the 4 Turtles who have been exposed to the Ooze, he wipes the stuff off of them on him. The Turtles being that they have made contact with a human, turn into full grown human sized Turtles, while Yoshi is turned in a Rat, because of his long exposure to the Sewer Rats. It is also contrversary as to whether or not, Shredder was responsible for the Turtles transformation, since he uses the same mutagent to turn Bebop & Rocksteady into their animal selves. All I have to say is I loved this show, haven't seen it since it ended in 1996, but it was still fun to watch. 5 out of 10. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) Wow, here is the ultimate TMNT movie. The best adaptation of the comics, with just a spice of the cartoon. From the moment the film starts, featuring a news report by April O'Niel(Judith Hoag)about the uprising of mysterious ninja-like crimes plaguing NY. The origins of Shredder, Splinter and the Turtles are presented here from the origin in the comics. The few comedic aspects are derived from the cartoon, appealing to those who hadn't read the comics(like me)and to help ensure the PG rating(although, it must have been a few inches away from a PG-13 rating). Casey Jones has got to be one of my favorite characters in all the films, because he's hard edge, blunt, right down to business, good boy, with a bad boy exterior. I did like Judeth Hoag's portrayel of April O'Neil complete with matching Yellow Rain coat(even when there's no rain) which is featured in the cartoon. Elias Koteas who plays Casey Jones, does a great job, he seemed to embody the character, like it was him. I have only see him outside of this role in Look Who's Talking Too as Kirsty Alley's brother Stuart. The puppeteers responsible for the great Turtle outfits come from the famous Jim Henson company, they also brought us the puppets in Dark Crystal and my favorite Labyrinth(which was the debut role for 15 year old Jennifer Connelly, who was in Ang Lee's The Hulk) Other than Splinter, who was voiced and played by Kevin Clash the rest of the performaces of the of 6 of the actors, seperate voice actor's were cast alongside them. Here is the rundown of Live Action Actors and Voice Actor in this film: LIVE ACTION ACTORS VOICE ACTORS CHARACTERS Michelin Sisti Robbie Rist Michaelangelo Leif Tilden Corey Feldman Donatello Josh Pais Josh Pais Raphael David Foreman Brian Tochi Leonardo James Saito David McCharen The Shredder Toshishiro Obata Michael McConnohie Master Tatsu This film was great and New Line Cinema and the rest of the cast and crew really gave us a good show, What happened to the rest....? 7 out of 10 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991) Okay, when you have a franchise that kicks ass in the box office, you immediately begin to look toward bringing it back, but that kind of rushed thinking is what hurts a film that many kids and teenagers want to be done correctly. This is where it started, now grant it, it's not the worse film in the series and unlike Mike, lol I will watch it again. But it was a huge disappointment, even as a kid. I get this feeling that the studio execs, sat in the theater with a sold out crowd for the original film and jotted down every moment where the crowd made a noise and decided to bring the Cartoon version into a live action setting. It's never a good idea to bring Cartoons into a live action setting, there are ways to adapt cartoons into a feature film, but not this. First off, we are introduced to a Pizza crazed NY(or at least how they make it seem through editing). Obviously, getting us to remember right away that the TMNT love pizza(we could never forget though, can we). First off we meet Casey Jones' replacement Ernie Reyes Jr. who actually plays a decent character named Kino, who starts off as a Pizza Delivery Boy, but seems to forget later on that he even has a job, when he begins to talk and help the Turtles out. There is set time period after the first film, so we can assume that the Turtles living with April has been a while, seeing that she is obviously irritated(with Splinter being the only one, who notices this). This time April is portrayed by younger and cuter Paige Turco, who of course will play April in the third film. She actually does an okay job, but I do think Judith is a better April. I did miss Casey Jones in this and it makes no sense of where he went. At the end of the first film we are shown that April and Casey have decided to start a relationship, but no mention of a relationship or even break-up is mentioned here. The only continuity here with the first film is April higher position at the newsroom and Shredder being shown at the Garbage dump surviving(which in itself makes no sense). The biggest issue here is since this is closer to the cartoon, than the first film than where is Bebop and Rocksteady and why give us assed out characters like Tokka and Rahar? Well look at my previous reply on this forum for that answer. I know as a metalhead I will get wrapped in the cyber mouth for this, but I liked the Vanilla Ice song "Ninja Rap" Vanilla Ice is and will never be Eminem, but hey few are, right. The fight scenes are ridiculous and it seems like Raphael could be the poster child for a "Kick Me" sign, seeing as he is always the one roughed up the most. David Warner makes an appearance here as the one who made the Ooze, thereby almost being responsible for the mutation of the Turtles and Splinter. Warner is excellent in everything he does, but a scene that I don't believe was ever filmed, showed that Warners character would be revealed to be a Krang like Alien in a human form at the end. Few cast changes were made from the original characters and their actors, but here are the new Voice and Live Action actors(NOTE: Ones not mentioned are the same as the first). LIVE ACTION ACTORS VOICE ACTORS CHARACTERS Mark Taso Leonardo Adam Carl Donatello Kenn Scott Laurie Faso Raphael François Chau The Shredder (Kevin Nash played Super Shredder) Kurt Bryant Frank Welker Tokka Mark Ginther Frank Welker Rahzar By this time, the studio tried to appease the younger audiences and created a mess that when you turn 10, you start to realize how dumb it is at times. Can it get any worse...? 3 out of 10 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993) Yes, it gets alot worse, with this pile of crap. The only way this will ever end up in my DVD collection is if they release an Ultimate Box Set with all 4 films and a bonus disc(exclusive to the set). I won't spend so much time on here, because it pretty much sucks. Okay, so some time has passed since part 2 ending, Shredder is pretty much dead and no mention of him is made. We get our first glimpse of the 'New" TMNT(I mean the acne look done on the outfits)in a training sessions where they train to music. It seems to last forever, but mercefully only until the credits are done. The session stops when Hothead Raphael stops the music(surprise). Splinter is seen looking like a sorry old worn out shoe. April than appears, apparently ready to go on vacation and getting the Turtles something nice to play with while she's away. April happens to have picked up a Japanese Sceptor(which seems to have landed in an American flee market....?)for Splinter and we cut to Fuereal Japan as the same Sceptor is being used by a rebellious freedom fighter(he's helping to fight a war against his father who happens to be in league with an American arms dealer and seems to be a dictator of sorts. He is transported and replaces April, who apparently is the same size, width, weight as the Japanese warrior(I don't to remember the name). So the Turtles do a little research and discover that it is a time traveling device, but in order to go back and bring April back, they need to trade places with 4 people with their same stats. So they call upon Casey Jones(Elias Koteas, probably the best part of this film he also plays Whit in Japan), who I'm guessing was MIA in the 2nd film. So he can protect Splinter from whatever or whoever may come back in their place(as well as to keep an eye as April replacement). Like I did on the last one, I will post the Live Action and Voice Actors who are new in this film. Corey Feldman returned as the voice of Donatello after being absent in the 2nd film(he was asked back). LIVE ACTION VOICE ACTOR CHARACTERS Mark Platt Leonardo Matt Hill Tim Kelleher Raphael Jim Raposa Donatello David Fraser Michaelangelo James Murray James Murray Splinter Here are my scores, sorry its not an extensive review, but I'm getting a headache from thinking about this film. 2 Out of 10. Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation (1997-1998) I wonder if this live action continuation of the films was the reason the 1987-1996 Animated Series was cancelled 6 episodes prior to Episode 200. I will admit, I didn't watch too much of this series, I watched maybe 5 episodes and one of them is a Power Rangers in Space episode(which is the only one they still air). I was a big Power Ranger fan, watching it from the beginning all the way to The Lost Galaxy(which came right after Power Rangers in Space)and even watched the later series Power Rangers: Dino Thunder, because it had Tommy Oliver(the original Green Ranger). The series was a dumbed down version of what was already dumbed down in the series of films since part II. The female Turtle seemed to be an attempt to give the female audience someone to look up too(what happened to April). The Live Action and Voice Actors differ like in the films. LIVE ACTION VOICE ACTOR CHARACTERS Gabe Khouth Michael Dobson Leonardo Jareeed Blancard Kirby Morrow Michaelangelo Ricard Yaw Jason Gray-Stanford Donatello Mitchell A. Lee Yuen Matt Hill Raphael Nicole Parker Lalainia Lindbjerg Venus de Milo Fiona Scotty Stephen Mendel Splinter Since I haven't seen enough of the series to give a definitive opinion, I will on the episodes I had seen. 3 out of 10. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 Animated Series This new inception of the series started in 2003 and is still going strong. With already 143 episodes under its belt(with less amount of time on the air). This series has gone on to appease today's audiences while sticking true to the Mirage Comics. I have watched a few episodes and thought they were okay, but since I'm an 80's baby and had no idea up until recently its comic book origins, I stopped watching it(this went the same with the reboot of He-Man, yuck). So no review on this, I'm sorry, but from what I have seen, it is far better thsn the live action 3rd film and live action TV Series. TMNT (2007) I guess they couldn't come up with another title, like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV, or Turtles IV: Back in Action. But this film is actually really good. When I first heard of it being a sequel and in CGI, I cringed. I saw Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie(which served as an animated sequel to the crap Street Fighter live action film). But I was pleasantly surprised at how good the film matched uo the original and even beat out parts 2 and 3(surprise there huh). The drawings of April and Casey are a bit annoying, as they look like they look like a fun house version of themselves. But other than that, the voice acting is great, the storyline is decent and the animation is stellar. So my score on this as I've only seen it once is 6 out of 10.
  20. Ok, I'm now listening to the review on TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze and a few questions were asked. Here are the answers on those few: How is Bebop and Rocksteady created? Well in the first episode of the 1987 TV Cartoon Series, Bebop and Rocksteady were part of a street gang who were defeated in a humiliating fashion by the Turtles. Shredder decides he wants to use them as leaders of his Foot Clan and they volunteer, with the promise from Shredder that they will get their revenge on the Turtles. They are transformed and become larger and a bit stronger, but remain as stupid as they were before. Why isn't Bebop and Rocksteady used in the TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze movie? Bebop and Rocksteady were the creations of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird whilst co-developing the background behind the original animated series. Both hated the toning down of the characters by the second season and refused to use the goofier versions in the second movie, which the studios insisted on. This is why Tokka and Rahzar were used instead.
  21. Okay here is the first part of what I have written tonight, remember this is a work improgress, so I will polish it over and over again. THE CROWS Based on the characters created by James O’ Barr Outline Written by Eric Curto Story will start off with a Crow flying over a dark, unpleasant city in the dead of night, nothing but police and fire truck sirens can be heard. Than the noise will fade out as a mysterious voice will begin the narration of what the "Legend of The Crow" is (we will find out who this character is at the end of the next film and have an off-screen voice cameo from her in this one). After the narration we see through the eyes of The Crow, we see the inside of what appears to be the home of an ex-con as he is coming home from a job(haven't decided on what job he would have being an ex-con). As he walks in he is knocked out and blacks out. When he awakens he is tide up and see 3 thug-like junkies holding his girl and is forced to watch as they start to torture and cut her. He is also beaten pretty badly to the point that he can't lift his head up, he says in a crackly gasping voice "I'm sorry, please let her go? "(we will find out why these guys have tortured them soon). His head is than forced back up and like Malcolm McDowell in "A Clockwork Orange" his eyes are taped open, as they stab his girlfriend repeatedly and force him to watch. They let go of her as she slowly crawls to him. She goes to hold his hand and is shot dead before their fingers touch. As he watches the blood from her body slowly spill out of her onto the floor, his hair is grabbed and throat slit. Than we see through dying eyes their boots as they walk out and we hear them say "That's what he gets from skipping on a job. " The Crow is seen sitting outside the man's window cawing(making noise), a few hours later, the man wakes up and is delirious as he comes to see and realize him and his girlfriends death. We see him touch her as he gets flashes of what happened(and hopefully get the Gramme Revill music)as he begins to stroke her forehead sobbing, rocking her back and forth as he begins to scream, we see that the screams are so loud that 3 blocks away the 3 guys responsible hear the screams as they are beating on a homeless man for his money. We come back to the apartment and the man gets up and walks past a mirror, noticing the blood has formed the make up seen in the previous films, he decides to burn his skin in that way. When he gets done, he notices The Crow outside his window, as he goes closer to it, The Crow flies off. Suddenly we get an up close look at the man and than through the eyes of The Crow, we can see where it lands in front of the loft where Eric Draven and Shelley Webster were murdered. It is now boarded up, with only the loft top window still recognizable. The man(we'll name him Judas) goes there, seeing The Crow, he hears a strange voice, coming from out of no where "Judas, I am the Skull Cowboy, I have come to tell you what your one and only mission is" Judas replies, "What are you?" The Skull Cowboy says, "Think of me as an advisor or mentor in the vengeance of the death of your true love. " Not seeing anything he shoves it off as nothing more than his imagination. The next night, we see the gentlemen gathered together in a dingy old warehouse and it appears that their talking to someone who we can’t see. A female’s voice(the one we heard earlier in the narration)begins to speak, saying to them(they appear frightened), “So you got the job done?” “Yes, “ they reply…”Than why do I hear that only one body has been found?” “ I don’t know, we saw them both die. “ The scene than ends with a shadowed smile. We than find ourselves back to where Judas is and who has now managed to get himself a new outfit and is walking the streets. He sees one of the men in an alley way attempting to rape a young woman(no more than 16, 17) , we get a flashback sequence with Judas and a few men being told that they need to settle this tenant problem anyway possible(hopefully get Wincott back to cameo as Top Dollar in flashbacks). We than see the man telling the young girl to hold still and do what he says or he’ll cut her so much, she won’t be good to any man ever again. She begins to sob heavily as he begins to slowly slide his switchblade up her skirt. Suddenly he hears a noise and turns around to see what it is. As he investigates, the young woman slides down on the ground, emotionally too weak to run yet. He comes upon a big garbage bin and slowly picks the lid up, as he is ready to strike with his knife inside, he sees nothing but a rat crawl out. He begins to laugh, when he turns around, Judas appears and takes his knife and sticks it so hard in his hand and though his leg, he can’t move. He look towards the girl and tells her to lose, she runs off. As he is looking toward the woman, the man rips the knife out and stabs him in the back, Judas swings at him sending him flying in a pile of garbage, picking him up, he ask “Have you made piece with the devil” and before he can answer he shoves his heard in the garbage bin and slams the lid so hard it decapitates him. Judas goes to tend to his wound and sees that it is already healed, with just a little blood present. The voice of The Skull Cowboy appears and explain to Judas that he must carry out his mission and avenge the death of his girlfriend, he will find no piece and his soul won’t rest until he does. As long as The Crow breathes life and his mission isn’t complete he is immortal. Judas glees with a smile and tells the Skull Cowboy, “Don’t wait up” and as the police sirens begin to be heard getting closer, he disappears without a trace as the young woman is seen running into the alley way and screaming at the site of the decapitated body. Fade to black… We begin to hear phones ringing and crowds talking all at once as Fade Out of Black… We pan out from a picture of Officer Albrecht and his wife Sharon(who is now Detective Albrecht). Officer Albrecht sits at his desk, now working in a desk job, for the continuing look into the death of Sarah(at the end of the 2nd film)and begins to hear an APB over the CB Radio about the death of local hoodlum Andy Wright(the man who was decapitated)the cops are given a description by the woman who was almost raped by Andy as a man 5’9, Medium Build with his face cut up like the “Sad Clown”. He grabs his jacket and heads down there. Meanwhile. His wife Detective Albrecht is already there investigating for any evidence that might have been left at the crime scene. She notices a splash of blood found a few inches away from the body and scoops it up to analyze as it looks weird. We hear commotion coming from the police as Albrecht arrives at the scene and is told he is no longer allowed to interfere with outside police work. Detective Albrecht tells the officer to please let him through, she’ll take the heat. Officer Albrecht confides in Sharon that he may know how to find out what happened here. She replies “Not your coming back from the dead, theory again” and he replies “Honey, I’m telling you it happened, you may not want to believe in it, but how else do you explain Top Dollars death? “Or the fact that when Sarah died she was seen being held by a man with a painted face?” she replies “I don’t know, all I know is your obsession with Eric and Sarah is what put you out of the streets and on the desk.” Sharon says, “Let me handle this, please, let me do my job, “ He replies “Alright, but please promise me you’ll keep an open mind and explore it from all possible and impossible angles, “ “Okay” she says.
  22. Ok, so I've had this idea for a while, touching it up every now and than, expanding little by little. I heard Earth-2.net : The Show(Episode 200) and thought I'd share my idea. Now first off, this will be a sequel to The Crow and The Crow: City of Angels(you'll find out why part II is in canon)and will be the first part of a two story movie(which will end in a cliffhanger of sorts and continue into a new film). The story structure will be very dark and gritty, keeping up with the look and feel of the original and will have a timeless feel to it. Parts 3 and 4 will have little to no mention(haven't decided yet). I am now working more on it so it will be much more fleshed out and I will post little by little the story as I get it to my liking. The characters I will bring back is Officer Albrecht(he'll be in the next film, I'm not sure yet if he'll make a cameo here), the female officer we see in The Crow will be Mrs Albrecht, but will now be Detective Albrecht(as she has been promoted since the first film)and will figure heavily in the following film. A mystery character from the first will make appearances(I'm not telling, lol)and the stories will come in contrast with events from the first and second film. We may get flashbacks to events that happened in the first, but weren't seen on film and some that may have been in the first.
  23. The first Robocop film is a dark, sick humor type Action Film Robocop II, had more of the Black Comedy, lighter feel, but still was a great film Robocop III I wanna forget, it was just terrible and what's worse is they killed Anne Lewis. Hate it... The cartoon series was of course, light hearted, just like Tales From the Cryptkeeper was a lighter version of Tales From the Crypt The Live Action TV Series kept up with what the 1st and 2nd one did and I thought the series was great.
  24. So, you just proved my point for me? He could be a guy named Hank in every movie he plays and if he keeps taking the role as Hank, then he's playing the same role every movie. He's playing to type. Half the actors in Hollywood do the same thing, but the "Angel" voice doesn't work for Hal Jordan, and that's exactly what he used. I meant somewhat similar portrayels, that doesn't mean there all the same in every second of the performance. It also doesn't mean he's a bad actor. I think he's a great actor and did an excellent job as Hal Jordan in JL: The New Frontier. But if you don't care too much for the shows Buffy or Angel or of his portrayel of his 3 characters of Angel, Angelus and his human self, than I can see why you wouldn't like his other portrayels.
  25. He's actually great as Angelus. A lot of it is great writing but when you come to it you'll really enjoy that character. What I liked about Angelus was, that he has got to be Buffy's biggest villain. Similar to how The Joker is Batman's greatest villain. Angelus defeats Buffy plenty of times because he gets into her head and plays off her emotions. While he was considered the 2nd Season villain alongside Drusilla(and to a lesser extent Spike), he will for me be the ultimate villain in the series.
