Man of Steel had more of a phenomenon where the people who liked it really liked it and the people who hated it really hated it. On this one it's just hate. Up to and including the director of the movie. That's when you end up in a death spiral where hyperbole starts to take over.

I wouldn't be so quick to come to the defense of Trank. There have been a lot of rumors swirling about how awful he is to deal with and there is a reason he got shit canned from the Han Solo movie.

I don't see why you can't make Aunt May younger in the comic too. Just have Peter sell something else to the devil to turn her into a milf.

It is the trying way to hard to establish the universe that makes it so bad. Honestly the first Green Lantern movie should have been the easiest thing in the world to make. It is basically a CBS procedural like NCIS or CSI. Rookie cop, Hal Jordan, gruff veteran cop, Sinestro, investigate a murder, Abin Sur. So simple.

I am 100% in favor of Affleck writing and/or directing anything. He is really good at those two things. It's the acting where things get iffy with him.

Everyone seems to think she's playing Susan. Which tells me she is not playing Susan.

Yeah I am interested in Spider-Man insofar as his interactions with the other Marvel characters. The solo movie, especially the high school emphasis, doesn't interest me in the least.

Age wise it is not a problem. I think the issue people will have is that she has aged better than any human being has ever aged so she looks no where near her age.

Interesting first episode. Slice of life stuff with Goku and Goten hanging out, and Goten and Trunks looking for a present for Videl. Next week Vegeta goes on vacation with Bulma and Trunks. Beerus is more overtly evil than he was in the movies. That bugged me a bit.

So apparently they will be retelling the last two movies in story arc form as well as taking a trip to the 6th Universe.
