  1. This Dynamic Duo is not going to go forever, Bruce is going to come back soon, whether its in Red Robin or in this or in whatever, Bruce Wayne will return. What is going to happen then? I don't know. Bruce either didn't die or he is going to somehow magically come back to life. If R.I.P. did not dhow a dead body then that is because Bruce Wayne will return. But I do hope this new Batman and Robin will continue for a while.
  2. Looks like DC photoshopped a mouth, a nose, and a chin on the face of the Cassandra Cain Batgirl.
  3. I am going to Britain and France for 4 weeks!
  4. Anyone think Batman #687 is good? Its supposedly part of an unnamed group of issues that are an epilogue to Battle For The Cowl

  8. I think I am going to get some modern Spirit.
  9. I agree that Teen Titans is not in continuity, but I am still wanting to hear on WFP (best podcast ever)!
  10. thanks for the recommendations, I have already read the Batman/Spirit crossover, its really good.
  11. I was watching The Batman, "Artifacts", and I realized that they totally don't mention or include any other Robins besides Dick Grayson, and Red Robin, but I'll get to that later, but anyway, this episode is set in the future where some future people discovered the Batcave. From this episode we learn that in the continuity of The Batman, Dick Grayson was the only Robin ever. There is no hints at all to there being any other Robins in the history of the Batman Family, except one, depending on what you think. The girl that helped in the discovery of the Batcave, found the suit of Robin that we had already seen in The Batman, but then she says that this was the suit of the Red Robin. Sure, its probably just a false name passed down in stories of Batman and Robin for Robin. But Red Robin has been in DC Comics before. There have been four Red Robins in DC comics, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Ulysses Armstrong, and recently, Tim Drake. Maybe there were Jason Todd, Ulysses Armstrong, and Tim Drake in the continuity of The Batman? Maybe their dead or not in Gotham during the parts of this episode where it shows the older Batman Family? Maybe when the girl mentioned Red Robin, she was talking about a different person than the Robin that wore the suit she was looking at? There were probably other suits not found when the people in the future found the Batcave. Could there of been other people in the continuity of The Batman that the girl was talking about? If so, who? Why or why not? Go here to learn more about Red Robin Go here to watch "Artifacts"
  12. I guess that image is funny to some people, but no one ever makes fun of Batman TAS!!! That is my most favorite cartoon ever! I DON'T care how awesome Batman The Brave and the bold is, i don't care if the bat mite episode is the best, I am fine with that comic con scene, but not this image from the scene making fun of BTAS! No mocks of BTAS!
  13. Batman in The Brave And The Bold #13 Batman in The Brave And The Bold #27 Are those two the same? I think so, but maybe not, who knows.
  14. I have not yet read any of Red Robin, Batman and Robin, or Streets of Gotham. I definitely want all of those, I don't know about Gotham City Sirens, I have time to wait and decide, I wanna look at a preview of it when comes online, before I think about buying it next week. I am probably not going to get Blackest Night: Batman. Its a waste of money for me, I never really liked Deadman, it doesn't matter, its coming in August, time to enjoy my summer before thinking about it. Not actually that much good out, I'm still not liking the Oustiders. I am probably not going to spend my summer with Batwoman Detective Comics (so angry at the switch), instead I will build up my collection of Batman Detective Comics issues. Sadly, the only Batman Detective Comics I own are #842 and #844. I have not read any later ones. My goal is to collect the last twenty Batman Detective Comics. All Star Batman and Robin Boy Wonder Volume 1 is coming out this summer. I don't know if I will get it. Its the first 9 issues in one book, I already own #5 and #9. I have looked around and found out that the ones I have are the cheapest online, all the other issues are pretty expensive. I will spend less money if I get the Volume 1 than get issue by issue. if I get Volume 1, I will have those two extra issues, I will probably hold on to them. I am also probably going to get Batman: Confidential. Besides the new dynamic duo, there is not that much interesting in DC this summer, although I can't wait for a couple DCU DTVs to come out.
  15. Edited post, I guess this thread is interesting.

  17. As odd as it is, there are a lot of references of DC Comics in The Office. I am a really big fan of the NBC comedy, The Office. I am also a DC Comics fan, and what I have noticed i that there are a lot of references to DC Comics in The Office. I wonder if one or more of the creators likes DC Comics, cause there are a lot of DC references. Here are a few that I was able to find and remember:
  18. I agree, there is something weird about that necklace. Notice where Green Goblin's eyes are pointing, almost like he is interested in Spiderman's boobs, if Spiderman had them. Unless in a big picture without the heart shape or it being broke in half, Green Goblin is slightly above him and looking down. Those two halfs of the heart may not even be in the same bigger picture. Still, this picture is just plain weird.
  19. I'm glad this is happening, everything in the future is digitalized, music, movies, books, and now motion comics. The only motion comic I have watched is Batman Black & White, can't say I liked it, but motion comics are a good idea, I have downloaded comics off of the internet before, it can be stressful, in some ways better than buying comic books from stores, but I still like having a comic book or graphic novel in my hands and I like adding them to my collection on book shelves and in boxes, although I like the idea that is in motion comics of listening to voice actors, even though your looking at drawn comic book stills and not moving animated people like in cartoons, but that can be annoying if your like me, where you imagine people saying the dialogue in comic books, like famous voice actors talking, like Mark Hamill or Heath Ledger if I am reading a comic book with the Joker. By the way, I have a question for people who have downloaded motion comics on their ipods before, if you buy motion comics on iTunes Store, and you put them on your ipod, where are they stored, the TV Shows section?
  20. What I said on the Episode 55 thread: Anybody agree, disagree, What do you think?
  21. Seems kind of important to at least make a note there, though, huh? There was a lot of flashbacks in the DCAU, this entire list was hard enough, I can't do all the flashbacks. For example, I didn't say where the the Return of the Joker flashback was in continuity.
  22. I made this for fun. Its a play version of the deaths of Bruce Wayne's parents. I changed the story slightly. This is nothing great, just did it for fun. Here it is: It was a dark night. Martha: I love the necklace. Thomas: The best pearls money can buy. In Gotham City at least. Did you like the movie, Bruce? Bruce: Kind of, I am glad you were able to come. Why do you always have to be at the hospital? Why can’t we all do more stuff like this all the time? Thomas: Bruce, you know I am needed at the hospital. There are people out there that need help. Our family has everything it needs, but that is not the same for everyone else in this city. That is why we help charities. Its why I have the job I have, to help people who are in pain or who are suffering from illnesses or accidents. Martha: Your father is right, Bruce. Sometimes you need to sacrifice your time or wealth, just yourself, for others, whether it’s being a doctor, helping charities, or being some other type of hero. Bruce: I think I understand. Dad, how much farther do we have to walk? When is Alfred going to pick us up? Thomas: Oh Bruce, this was supposed to be a special night, one of the few I have off. So I gave Alfred the night off. Martha: I don’t know about this Thomas, this neighborhood isn’t the best. Thomas: Don’t worry; we will be able to catch a taxi a few blocks down. Bruce: I don’t know either Dad, I am sort of scared. Thomas: There is nothing to be scared of Bruce; it’s just the dark. Some day you will learn to overcome your fears. Martha: Thomas, were the Waynes, if anyone in this city saw us, they would automatically pick pocket or mug us. Thomas: No one can recognize us at this hour, please stop worrying you two. I have to find out where we are. Bruce: Were lost? Thomas: No, stop worrying! A Stranger: Need some directions? Thomas: Uh, no, I think were fine, thank you. The Stranger: But I insist. Thomas: Were okay, thank you. The Stranger: Oooh, never seen such nice pearls. You treat your woman good mister. Thomas: Lets get out of here guys. The Stranger: Hey, not so fast. Got any other nice things on you? Martha: Oh my God! Thomas: He’s got a gun. Get out of here Bruce! Go! Bruce: What’s going on? Thomas: Here its all the money I have on me! The Stranger: I want those pearls too! Martha: Aaaaah!!! (scream) The Stranger: Give me the fuckin’ necklace! Bruce: Mom, Dad! Thomas: Wait let let go of her! Martha give them to him! Hey, hey, hey, can’t we just - The Stranger: Give me all your jewelry you bitch! BANG! Bruce: No mom! Thomas: No!!! Martha! You shot my wife, you – BANG! Bruce: No!!! The Stranger: God damn family! Oh shit, the cops are coming! Gotta scram! Bruce: Noooo! Noooo! Mom! Dad! This can’t be happening! Nooo! (Police Arrive) Officer Gordon: Whats going on? Oh my god. Another Officer: The kid’s not hurt. But his parents are, I'm afraid, murdered. Officer Gordon: Who did this to them? The Other Officer: We don’t know. The kid doesn’t have a good description of him. Officer Gordon: Hard to see in the dark.
  23. I don't count flashbacks as making that episode in the time of the flashback, so I will not change the position of "Old Wounds". Thanks for telling me about teh Clayface episodes, I will edit my list again.
