You Know Who Posted September 6, 2014 Report Share Posted September 6, 2014 That might be the next poll we need to have: The best fictional doctors. (MDs, not The Doctor.) Per this post, I thought it might be fun to launch a thread on our favorite fictional medics (surgeons, general practitioners, nurses, etc; not just anyone with the title of "Doctor") rather than best, since there are too many to limit poll of the fifteen best or fewer. If this catches on, we could do ones for iur favorite lawyers, detectives, teachers, etc. in fiction. Off the top of my head, my favorites are Dr. Martin Ellingham (Doc Martin) and Dr. Zoidberg (Futurama). One hates everybody but can cure almost anyone, the other wants to be everybody's best friend but can cure almost no one, and neither has any people skills.
