Missy
I've yet to place my November DCBS order, and I don't know if that's 'cause I'm not interested in that month's products or if it's because I'm pulling away from comics. Hopefully it's the former.
Venneh
I've not gone down to my LCS in a while because these days it means going out of my way to get down there. Now that I'm working closer to it hopefully I'll have the incentive, but even so, I just kind of feel eh about the idea, where it used to be pretty fun. Stavros
My actual purchasing of comics has really declined, I rarely go to my LCS weekly anymore. If I do read something it's usually a trade I'm borrowing or single issues of a series I really like and thus have stuck with.

dc20willsave
So, JMS and Steve Wacker went into a war because JMS posted a very under researched chart showing the decline in Sales on Amazing Spider-Man since he left. This goes back and forth until Mark Waid pops in with this: Dick move, Joe. Flat out, a dick move, and you know it. Either your point was to show people how awesome you were, or to show people how things have deteriorated since your absence. There’s no other way to interpret your post. None. Are you really that hard up for approbation and fan love that you can’t rise above that sort of shit? I understand Wacker’s frustration. Maybe he overreacted a bit, in the way good friends DO react when they perceive their friends and employees being attacked by a bitter man with a bottomless ego, but you made the first move, and it was a dick move. And if anyone doubted you were doing it for anything other than informational purposes, adding “Just sayin’” was the snarktacular icing on the cake. No one says “Just sayin’” unless they’re doing exactly the opposite of “Just sayin’ … Half an hour later, still fuming at JMS’s shitty passive-aggressiveness. I should probably go walk it off. Maybe with a long walk. A long, dull, pointless, boring walk. Across America. … That I won’t finish. Source.
Missy
I've been following this, and it backed up what I already believed: JMS is a dick and Mark Waid is awesome.
KnightWing
That is incredibly epic. It's nice to know that for every famous crazy douchebag comics writer, there's a clever, smart one to counter them.
Dread
Mark Waid is the comics industry's sheriff. Don't fuck with him or he'll take off his mirrored shades and make you regret it.

But now Tiny Titans is cancelled. So, even trade off, I think? They've written other comics, and kept on Tiny Titans, like Billy Batson and the first several issues of the Young Justice comic. dc20willsave
It's Bleeding Cool so take it with a grain of salt but they're saying that in April, Marvel/DC will be releasing a 12 issue Batman/Spider-man series.

Missy
I cannot believe Rich fell for that. A 12-issue crossover? On its face, it's obviously false.
