    Is Adsense worth it?

    haYi i:m smrt 2iii
  2. Awesomest story ever. Guy's like Jonah Hex, only unfortunately without the Frontier Justice aspect.
  3. The best part of all is that we both had it on the same book.
  4. and lo' the seventh seal has been opened signaling the end of our grace. A new age is upon us! Repent! Repent!
  5. My friend has a copy of the first issue, and i looked through it and liked the artwork a lot. Once all five issues are out i'll ask if i can borrow them, and then i will get my thoughts back to you on that. But you should seriously read Dan Dare, it's amazing! To be honest, I never picked it up because of my complete boredom with all of the public domain character books coming out. None are any good and none have interested me beyond the first issue of The Twelve and that was a letdown. I don't blind buy Ennis. He just hasn't proven to me that he's worth it. I do like him, though. You don't really think The Demon is better than Preacher do you?
  6. And now you got me all riled up... It isn't bashing, it's reviewing. I praise stuff I think is good, did you listen to the Avengers the Initiative review? It hurt to like that book as much as I did... All of my opinions were backed and supported thoroughly. It's a negative review. Not a bashing. I'm done. How about them Big Mo's ?
  7. I should also mention that I never said the "only good" thing he's done is Preacher. By far the best, but not the only good.
  8. Oops. Sorry. Got lost in all the hatred... Mal, did you read War is Hell?
  9. We'll see about that. The entire BIG MO episode was one of the greatest things I've ever listened to. I also mentioned thast in the email and this is how I qualify it: BIG MO=best moment ever and forever, this one=best full episode yet.
  10. Ha! Hellblazer? Worst of the entire series was Ennis. The best thin in the Hellblazer U he's done is Heartland. Hands down. If anybody argues against that they are wrong. The Demon. Masturbatory. Hitman. Funny at first but got boring like his usual stuff. Chronicles of Wormwood I have but have yet to read. Dan Dare? I've said all I'll ever say about that on the show. Mike picks another issue for IIWY, methinks he'll be reviewing it alone. I was offended by that book's complete lack of coherence and goodness. Yes, despite CoW (because I haven't read it) Preacher is a million times better than all those others. In fact, it's a little diminished in my eyes after having been eye-raped by Dan Dare. I like Van Lente. His MA shit was awesome and his MODOK mini was my favorite miniseries out of Marvel in 2007. But have you read Incredible Herc 116? Ugh. Waste your money on that one and get back to me. and from a Chaykin fan to boot. He has been stinking it up for years now. Blade? His Cap issue of New Avengers? Only acceptable if Marvel planned on launching Cabbage Patch Dolls with their characters' likenesses. Seeing as that hasn't happened, it's just bad. That's what we're here for. I said it to Mike in email: I think this was our best episode yet.

    Episode 33

Easy. Everybody else is wrong. Trust me. I wanted to like this. I did on first viewing, but on second viewing, albeit one with an actual aspect ratio on my big TV, the monsters looked like they were out of a video game cut scene. It sucked because the story was actually great. I love the novella but the ending to the film is better than the original. My mom thought it sucked too but that's because she couldn't handle it.
  12. I love how Dan tries to make our Mexican forum members feel more at home. Good day to you sir!
  13. Happy birthday both of youse!
  14. I've only read two IIF books and they were both below mediocre. This coming from a Bru/Frac fanboy.
  15. Are you comparing me with Keith Richards? Fie, I say!

    Episode 32

Yeah, that was the only obvious marker, besides the giggling, that proves I had imbibed a bit that night...corrections forthcoming
  17. It's brilliant marketing, really. Capture that young audience now and in ten years come back for a reunion tour when all of their fans are making great bank. By the way, I love how you refer to it as "Me and James" childhood. You're saying that Mike is old, aren't you?

    The 'Duh' thread

Is it wrong that my first thought was "If he had said WOOOOO!, and then she started crying, it would have made a much better story"? I'm going to hell. I can't quit you, Dan Toland!

    Titans

Nightwing's a leader on any team that's not the JL. When on the JL he'd become just another kid. I'm bored by the idea of Nightwing on the JL. He brings nothing new to the table. Especially with Roy there. He's entirely redundant with Batman there. It's not the right fit. If he is to be on any other non-Titans team then it should be the Justice Society. At least there he'd be under the tutelage of a different set of role models, ones that won't look at him like he's Robin.

The disregard Winnick showed for telling even a remotely interesting story in the Titans East Special was enough for me to skip this fucker. I said, MMMMMMMM Big Mo'
