teenalphabro
Plus, it'll finally give me a reason to watch Fire Walk With Me.
slothian
Our Twin Peaks coverage won't finish until November, so there'll be a wait if you play along with us at home. Still, I imagine we could get that watched for a .5 episode in December.
Professor
Acapulco H.E.A.T. for no other reason than I stumbled upon this video. In case you missed it. H.E.A.T. stands for Hemisphere Emergency Action Team. Just awesome.
dc20willsave
An idea for a .5 episode: Covering a series that got canceled after One or two episodes. Notable examples include Heil Honey, I'm Home (a sitcom about Hitler and Eva Braun living in a London Flat), Viva Laughlin! (A musical series about a casino that was made of bad), or Public Morals (A spin-off of NYPD Blue that, instead of being a hard-hitting drama, was an inane sitcom). dc20willsave
Agent Carter was recently canceled at two seasons. It would be an interesting one to do if for no other reason than Ian's Comic Reel-ief coverage of the MCU.A couple of other recently canceled series I'd like to submit for consideration: The Muppets and Galavant. Mr Mockery
Agent Carter is a very good call. I just bought season 1 on Blu-ray. I have vague memories of the insanity that was Cop Rock (in particular some guy singing about the fact that he sold babies) so I think that should go on the last too. I don't know if I have the have what it takes to sit through Baywatch Nights.
slothian
Cop Rock's already on the list. Agent Carter is a marvellous shout. The Muppets could be interesting. Baywatch Nights.........................I'm with Dave on that one. Still, if we get enough Patreon backers, then who knows?!
Mr Mockery
Just looked it up and there are 44 episodes of Baywatch Nights...Fuck no!
dc20willsave
Yeah, I was going to say. I know the policy has been two seasons or less but you should also have a limit on number of episodes. Baywatch Nights would have taken over a year with the format you guys use.
Koete
That just means it burned even brighter!
slothian
Regarding how many show episodes we cover in one podcast, Dave & I have had conversations about that very issue, depending on the show. For example, we've condensed four Life on Mars episodes into one instalment of TABHAL to ensure it's covered in four months. I wanted to do similar for Twin Peaks so that we weren't spending 11 months on the same show, but Dave talked me round to the format we're using at present on the basis that Twin Peaks is a pretty seminal show and we shouldn't be selling it short.Baywatch Nights on the other hand...... Mr Mockery
Maybe we could consider doing a few specials where we watch a few episodes of a show that we otherwise wouldn't cover due to the length. Get a flavour of it.
Missy
Ooooh! That's a great idea!
Dan
Honestly, I suggested Cop Rock because A) I think it's funny to suggest Cop Rock, and B) I genuinely would love to hear your reactions to the absolute insanity that the show really was. However, I'm very aware that it's a joke that would get really old, really fast, after two or three episodes at most. An occasional special would give you the freedom to poke around at weirdness without committing to a bit that gets wearisome after a couple of podcasts. I'm all for that. PieMan70
Just looked it up and there are 44 episodes of Baywatch Nights...Fuck no! Really? How? Why? I mean about 10 episodes and then joke is over is fine, but 44? It was basically Knight Rider without the car and everyone watched Knight Rider for the car. I presume the creators later pitched a series where Rex Smith solved crimes without a tricked out motorbike.
SteveJRogers
Want to do an American sitcom, primarily about American sports? The 1998-2000 (two seasons, 45 episodes) Aaron Sorkin produced Sports Night.

Missy
To be fair, isn't that the nature of their podcast? I mean, if a program was any good it would last more than two seasons.
