James D.
So...Donatello has an entire frickin' Best Buy's worth of hi-def TV's?
KnightWing
Yes, the teenage mutant ninja turtle named after the Renaissance artist Donatello has a somewhat inordinate amount of televisions.
dc20willsave
Either that or he just walked into a Circuit City towards the end and left with it when most of the employees could care less if someone stole from them or not. Guest
Can't wait for this to break a million box office records and then hear everyone talk about how it's horrible and should have never been made.
SuaveStar
I like it. Reminds me of the 2007 CGI TMNT movie.

I think I will just watch the Casey Jones movie.
Dan
Yeah, I just saw this, and realized that yes, it could get a whole lot worse.
Missy
While I really like the look of the statues / models we've seen, that standee doesn't give me a ton of hope.
KnightWing
To be honest, I really don't think you can do live-action TMNT without making the turtles look bizarre or even creepy. The old LA series made them work about as well as they could, and even that had its flaws. I want to see these new turtles actually moving, fighting, and quipping before making judgment. slothian
I don't want to see this film. I love the Turtles franchise. My siblings got me a Shredder t-shirt for Christmas. I am Earth-2's designated comic book movie correspondant. I will have to see this film. With an open mind. Maybe via torrent if I can't see it in theatres, but one way or another, I will have to watch Megan Fox's April O'Neill chill with the Turtles as they go up against a white Shredder. James D.
Hmm, what's the phrase I'm trying to think of? Refried hell? Yeah, refried hell.

If the film sucks, Ian, maybe you should approach Tranquil Tirades to assist you in covering the film?

Molly
I await torrents of rage. It looks like your usual Michael Bay schlock.
KnightWing
Actually, a lot of the early reaction has been, "that actually doesn't look terrible."
JackFetch
I'm glad they went with a more realistic look for the turtles. A giant talking turtle wouldn't be cute in real life. It'd be a monster.
NightAngle04
I will be there opening night.
James D.
It actually looked decent, but I'm sorry--Michael Bay has NOT earned the benefit of the doubt. I will dread this until I see it and am proven wrong.

slothian
I don't even think it looked decent. Still, different strokes for different folks...
Missy
I like the look of the Turtles, that I'll give it. Nothing else, however, sparked my interest. We'll have to see how other trailers go.
