The place I work just announced that lay offs could happen if the workers do not work faster. This is the same company that is so desperate for workers that they are hiring temps. The latest one quit after one week.

That reminds me of the time my former boss showed examples of messages she got for gaming while Female. Examples: John and the Barrowmen Javier and the Bardems Arnie and the Hammers Alyson and the Hannigans

I remember when I first heard the name Michael Cole mentioned on the list I thought it said "Michael Coe." I got really excited because ever since i read the book "The True History of Chocolate" I have loved his work. Especially his writings on Mayan Archaeology. If it were not for the fact that he was professor emeritus I would have worked harder at trying to get into his alma mater of Yale University. . . . in retrospect I should have known better.

I was wondering if you guys will ever review "Dragonball Evolution." Being a Dragonball and DBZ fan I was furious the first time I saw it. Then I realized franchises could get worst treatment (The Last Airbender, The films which shall not be named). I now watch it and marvel at how emotionless Chow Yun Fat is, and how it rips off so many other stories but DB. I just see it as a story about the guy from "The Invisibles" gets powers every time he is anywhere near Chi Chi.

If burning the American Flag is considered to be an acceptable form of protesting the government, could buying a bootleg DVD be seen as an acceptable form of protesting the producers?

Watching Wander Over Yonder." I feel I should be upset that there is a gigantic dog who can run through the ether of space and chews up planets that resemble tennis balls. But I am not. I keep wondering if that is what Douglas Adams had in mind when he mentions the "Arcturian Megapuppy."

When I saw that movie I realized that at one point in time Ben Stiller used to be neck to neck with Adam Sandler for who could make more stupid comedy. I am glad to see that Stiller can still be silly but also make a movie that has the audience leave the theater feeling happy. As if the audience was having the adventure as well. Also, unlike Sandler movies, funny people can still be funny in this movie. Scotts beard alone made me laugh and I have to agree with the eHarmony gag and cameo.

My aunt once taped around three hours of the series and gave it to me as a birthday present. I was very happy with it. I may give the dvds when her birthday comes.
