    Doctor Who/Batman

Heck, if Bruce Wayne were a timelord, it could give a (bad) explanation of why he's played by different actors in all the films. As Adham said in FYEO #1 (SHILL!), James Bond has been thought of by some as a timelord just because the entire series gives little regard to casting continuity as a whole. On topic though, if there ever was a Batman/Dr Who cross-over, expectations would be very, very high indeed.
  2. Like I said, a man of his caliber probably shouldn't be doing popcorn action movies. When I'm watching this movie and he comes on that's all I'll be thinking. Actors of Cheadle's caliber only serve to raise the level of the movie they're in. If Ian McKellen can put a bucket on his head and Edward Norton can turn into a monster, Don Cheadle can trade lines with Robert Downey and not feel too bad about himself. The defence rests, your honour. And that's SIR Ian McKellen to you, Toland.......
  3. No "next time, baby" for Howard after all. Eh, Cheadle probably could do a good job here and in that CBM roles are still re-cast in this day & age, it shouldn't be too disruptive.
  4. He's from Glasgow. He needs to keep a certain blood alcohol level or he'll turn English. By that logic, I should be a Scotsman..... No, you're an alcoholic. The difference being you don't wear a skirt. Not on weekdays, at least. ON TOPIC: If one person from Superman Returns......returns, I'd hope it'd be Routh. He seriously did a good job with what he was given.

  6. Episode #1 was too green, #2 was recorded when wired & edited badly, #3 was getting there, #4 had far too many "basically"s and #5 sounded awful despite the style being down. I am finally content.
  7. Sounds like we have one IIWY? book down for Tuesday!
  8. I'm holding you to this, James. Plus, I probably don't have to review it if you do so..... Sigh, consider it noted. Actually, I'm not sure I can have the notion of "making James' life shitter via MIB 2" on my conscience.
  9. Pfft, Kellen complaining after recording his half hour podcasts - I'm not even halfway through transferring tomorrow's FYEO episode because it's over 2 and 1/2 hours long! I need a long fucking nap. (Love ya, Kellen! )
  10. Exactly right - it's AluMINinIum!!!
  11. Cowboy Bebop has the most awesome title music I've heard on practically any show. The show itself, I barely remember, but I'm pretty sure it was enjoyable.
  12. This. The Bruce & Lloyd characters are pretty weak though.
  13. Seven foetuses (foetii?) that would rather abort themselves than be born, it would appear. Dubs, is that now the worst thing I've ever typed? I've been paranoid this last month.....
  14. Didn't the Spider-Man cartoon (which I quite liked back in the day) include a cameo by Stan Lee as the God-like figure of the Spider-Man universe?
  15. I'm holding you to this, James. Plus, I probably don't have to review it if you do so.....
  16. That plotline is beyond cliched. There is no reason for this film to exist, other than to squeeze the last drop of money out of the Lethal Weapon franchise.
  17. There is way too much stuff in it, and he's holding the guns like he's in a John Woo movie. I think he should be holding one gun pointed at the camera, and what's with all the guns around it? This movie is going to suck so bad I'm afraid. I REFUSE TO WATCH this movie either at the theaters or buy the DVD the 2004 movie is the only Punisher that I recognize. Apparently this NEW movie is a Marvel "reboot" like the Hulk movie was. While I haven't seen the new Hulk I'm not reserving judgement just yet. But this new Punisher just pisses me off. LOL You do know they're rebooting The Punisher partly because the 2004 film was shitty, don't you? I'll be interested to see this film, if only because it sounds like the right kind of tone, although the film appears to be straying into "Generic action film" territory from the trailer/info available. If this film bombs, it has to make Marvel think twice about re-committing the character to celluloid
  18. Actually, Ian called himself that first. Self-deprecating humour ftw!
  19. You want that podcast I do in on time, right, boss?
  20. Happy Birthday, Dubs! My compatriate also sends greetings: As does this one:
  21. Shit, I actually thought that was in there. I know for a fact that I ripped that clip. Ah well, at least I got Cochrane in there. Although I did cut down the "burns through ice" clip.... I'm a bad clips monkey....
  22. Yeah, but life's too short also.
