  1. Ringtone: "I Want You So Hard" by Eagles of Death Metal I have a generic tone for my tets although I used to have the Super Mario Bros 1 Up noise.
  2. If anyone 's interested in a drinking game, take a swig/shot any time I say "basically" in this episode. You'll get quite sozzled!
  3. I loved recording this. Just so, so much fun!!
  4. I'm not sure of the exact number, but it seems like most of the newest members are here because of WFP. Hey, they could be closet For Your Ears Only fans!!!!! ...........I concede, damn you! :grumble:
  5. Oh my. That's a terrible decision. Seriously, their villain is Jigsaw..... Can I say that my next CR article after Behind the Mask is going to look at the appeal of the hero-villain dynamic. The Dark Knight drew people in for many reasons, but it boiled down to the fact it was Batman vs The Joker. Cutting the rating down will undoubtedly get some more people through the door, but The Punisher vs his Jigsaw villain is not a match-up that people are going to flock to the cinemas to see.
  6. Agreed on both counts - the full, uncut movie should be better than what was shown in the cinemas.
  7. I should note that we did actually get feedback this month and had we recorded the show this last weekend rather than the previous one, we wouldn't still be moaning about feedback and the lack thereof. But it'll definately go in next month, so if you too feel like adding your two cents worth on Bond or Connery's run thus far, by all means do so!
  8. We seem to have a new Freddy: Says Englund..... If true, I quite like that bit of casting. But to pick up on the last line, if Krueger doesn't look more deformed than Eckhart's scarred side in The Dark Knight, then something's very wrong.
  9. That relay yesterday was insane. INSANE, I tells ya.
  10. Nice fan-made poster for sure. Knowing Nolan, we're not going to hear anything for good few months about whether he wants another crack at the mythos - I'm worried he might quit whilst he's ahead.

    Episode 50

Congratula-mations Des! Will listen through it at work tomorrow as I'm busy slaving over Thursday's For Your Ears Only (SHILL~!) at the moment, but I'm looking forward to it muchly!
  12. Our mutual buddy Morphine Jim does a couple of video game ones over at Destructoid.com, namely Podtoid and Podcastle. I really don't follow video games much anymore, I just tune in for Jim's humour really. I also gave the Incredible Spider-cast a listen around the time of the One More Day malarkey, and that was pretty entertaining. I should probably give that one another listen even though, again, I don't exactly follow Spider-Man.
  13. I can counter this with a single sentence: Following Batman Begins, producer Charles Roven said the Joker wasn't neccessarily going to be in the sequel. So I wouldn't discount Catwoman, even though Nolan himself has gone on record saying he couldn't see The Penguin working. Director > Producer, for some reason. I still think the Riddler's the most "likely", although I doubt we'd see a question mark leotard come into the equation.
  14. I don't know whether it's the latest episode or the feedback thread that's funnier at this point! :biglaugh: (Well, it's clearly the episode, but deary me, the image I now have of a female Etrigan is hysterical!)
  15. That's quite an 80s summer there! By that token, the fact I was slightly too young to be into certain franchises (and that I didn't get into them further down the line) means that I have no interest in the Transformers 2, GI Joe or A-Team movies. Of that list, I'm only bothered about Watchmen, Wolverine and Terminator 4 - I quite liked T3, and I've been a Bale mark for a while even if this film's being directed by McG.
  16. I just watched this again. Still good stuff, but I'm starting to err towards the idea that Dent probably is meant to be dead. DAMN YOU, DUBS!!!!! Honestly, I don't think Depp would be in a third Batman installment, especially not as The Riddler. I think that more for who the director is and how he picks actors for his roles. Whether Nolan admires Depp or not, HE would have to feel that Depp was the right guy for The Riddler before he'd get approached. I'm guessing his name's cropping up because he's Johnny Depp.
  17. Mary-Kate Olsen and drugs?!?!? Who'dathunkit? I think it's generally accepted that Ledger's death was nothing more than a tragic, tragic accident so this kind of statement just dredges up the worst of the tabloid gossip-mongering that happened back in January.
  18. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...97-2902,00.html Also, Megan Gale blew every one away with her audition for Wonder Woman. Remind me, what's the opposite of "HOORAY!!"???
  19. She was in the first three Superman films - Superman IV, I couldn't see it anymore. So yes she WAS, but she aged noticeably. Didn't know the Pryor tidbit, especially given that she was hardly in the third film and shared no scenes with him. There's no reason to suppose that they ever met each other on that basis, so...gosh.
  20. There'll be some different kind of distribution deal in that it's a standalone movie, I'm guessing.
  21. Thoughts? Personally I don't know how exactly the two are going to mesh, but I reckon they'll pull something off. And I love the BBC messageboards because half are bemoaning the fact they didn't go with British artists such as Amy "Drugs" Winehouse, Leona Lewis, Duffy or Adele, whilst the other half are calling those ladies crap singers, which is hilarious & awesome!
  22. Happy Birthday, fellow Brit!
