That's been my main complaint with the book as well, and really with all of these universe shaping stories. Iron Man is captured by Hulk, in Oklahoma, somewhere talking to Thor, and also in his tower brooding about helping Peter. And dead. Did I mention dead? We really need some sort of timeline set up so that we know, for example, that this Ultron thing took place the month before WWH, while One More Day is two weeks later, and the New Avengers thing with the Skrulls was two months before. Because now, it's just a bunch of loosely affiliated bullshit.

You know what's worse? Under Werewolf Rape, we are 4th.

This isn't a Marvel vs. DC thing, this is a shit book thing. Marvel seems to be on their way to their own overdone, shitty story (Messiah Complex) so there will be some anti-Marvel stuff then I'd assume. I think a lot of the backlash is the whole "52 issues at 2.99" deal. It's a little greedy. Hey, I love some DC stuff. I've read JLA since 0, and dig it. I think DC has a much better kids line, and that is important to me so I can expose my kids to comics, but Countdown is bad.

I hated it. Might have been good, but any game with fucking captain Gridiron in it and no Flint instantly sucks. The arcade game, even with no Flint, is tremendous.

I've been playing nothing but MAME games on my emulator, because I had to sell off the 360. Marvel vs SF is getting a lot of play, as is Marvel vs. Capcom, but I am somewhat obsessed with GI Joe and Wrestlefest.

I was thinking of that one myself. Superman dropping "Oh come on, it's Lex Flipping Luthor" is a fave. That whole damn episode is tremendous. There are a ton more. I'll have to ponder a bit.
