  1. Deadpool is hard to do a sequel for, because what makes him great is how he plays off of other characters. Unless Fox is willing to fold Deadpool into the greater X-Universe, the character's mileage is limited. And this comes from a guy who loves Deadpool's supporting cast and villains. I'm thrilled we get Weasel and Blind Al(!), but unless they do T-Ray (Sure) or LL&L (no fucking way) in the next movie, they're in a shitty place.
  2. ...I like the 90s animated series... I mean, just the much better, shorter second season. ...I'm lying, I totally love it all. Even Ben and Johnny's musical numbers.

  4. It's currently rocking 18% on Rotten Tomatoes.
  5. Critics aren't being allowed to review it and the main cast has yet to see the finished picture. Neither of those things bode well.
  6. http://www.buzzfeed.com/ryanhatesthis/people-are-attacking-this-hospitals-facebook-page-after-the#.snAvpp1pna TL:DR version: a bunch of entitled butt hurt nerds are blowing up a hospital's Facebook page because the new female Ghostbusters took time off of filming to visit sick children.

    Randomness

Relevent due to Blade Runner connections, also my raging hard-on for Tony Bourdain: Anthony Bourdain opening a 100,000 sq. ft. Blade Runner inspired food market in NYC.
  8. Is it weird that I'm good with any of the three options?
  9. Jonah Hill is... Gambit!
  10. Guardians of the Galaxy: Still great, but Des's suggestion of viewing Ronan of a black metal Viking improves the film ten fold.
  11. I demand a Sherlock/Bond team up, at Mycroft's arrangement.
  12. I'm pretty sure that movie would actually kill Dubs.
  13. He could be South African? I don't know, I'm grasping at straws here.
  14. Yeah, but the last thirty minutes of Phantom Menace kick ass.
  15. It's just too unbelievable for me. I'll give you a lot, but that's just... Way outside the realm of possibility. It's like shooting a specific rain drop in a thunderstorm. No one is that lucky. Which I know is a stupid nit picky thing in a movie about a tiny Paul Rudd fighting crime with ants.
  16. This was way better than it had any right to be. I genuinely liked everything outside of minor quibbles with the way that Corey Stoll was used. It honestly felt like some of his scenes that explained his descent into madness were left on the cutting room floor. I didn't have a problem with Falcon's portrayl. He was up against completely unfamiliar tech and he got his ass kicked, no shame in that. But all around, a lot of harmless fun with really cool action and a good sense of humor. A pretty nice little Marvel movie.
  17. I like it, Edge is a pretty good actor and I think his natural charisma will really gel with the fun they seem to have with the Flash.
  18. Olivia Munn looks good at least. Granted, she's playing the absolute worst X-Character I can think of, but she looks right
