Missy
What should it be? My suggestions: - Best horror movie heroine. (16) - Best cartoon villain (TV). (32) - Best cartoon villain (cinema). (32) - Best cartoon (TV). (64) - Best Disney animated feature. (64)
James D.
Best Disney animated feature or best animated villain On a side note, I'm also working on cutting the anime characters fighting tourney down to 32, so hopefully we can do that one later this year around AWA time or something. Chops
Biggest comicbook badass. I nominate Deathstroke the Terminator.
Zephyr
Best cartoon villain (TV). (32) Oh, that would be great. Agreed.
Chops
Best cartoon villain (TV). (32) Oh, that would be great. Agreed. But would it be for original cartoons or would it overlap into cartoons based on a source material, i.e. cartoons based on comics.
slothian
Disney animated feature fo' shizzle, as you Americans say. Not only as it would prompt more discussion but comic villain is too similar to the video game bad-ass tourney in my opinion.
Missy
But would it be for original cartoons or would it overlap into cartoons based on a source material, i.e. cartoons based on comics. It would overlap, because GI Joe and Muppet Babies must be included!
Kscriv
Disney feature. Vote Lion King I'd hate to see Cartoon Villain because the absolute best would be shafted. (Syrill Sneer>everyone else)

Kscriv
See, he aint Canadian, ergo never seen Raccoons, ergo doesn't know the sheer evil of Sneer, guy nearly killed his son to make a quick buck
JackFetch
Best Disney animated feature of course. Lion King rules. I hear the first 2 seconds and I get goosebumps.
Missy
It should be noted that eventually we'll run two separate tournaments to determine the greatest comic book superhero and supervillain of all time. Both will feature 64 characters. The plan, as it stands now, is to take the winner of each tourney and then place them in a traditional one-on-one Versus-type poll. But that could change. Either way: by year's end I hope to have run at least one of these.
Chops
See, he aint Canadian, ergo never seen Raccoons, ergo doesn't know the sheer evil of Sneer, guy nearly killed his son to make a quick buck Well Deathstroke did kill his son, orchestrated the death of his own brother, and manipulated his daughter just to fuck over Nightwing, plus he survived getting shot in the eye by his wife. I'm glad I'm not Canadian if the schools teach you to use a word like "aint".

Oh please, everyone knows the best animated Disney feature was "The Story of Menstruation".
Missy
I have an idea for the next tournament: best comic book catchphrases. What's so great about this is that you don't need to know the source material to vote; all you have to do is read each catchphrases and decided which one's better. So even people who have never read a comic book could contribute. What do you guys think?
James D.
It has potential. If you posted a blurb about the origin and the plot behind each catchphrase, it would be even better.

Right now the idea is to just podcast the theme and give the history on the accompanying site (podomatic for example). I'll be doing the theme and variations on the theme.
