This isn't a change that's going to happen overnight and nothing's set in stone, but it's been something I've been thinking about for a while now. Basically, a little extra revenue is always nice, and it would help cover the various fees it takes to keep the site running. They would be discreetly placed (i.e. between the fifth and sixth entries on the mainpage, at the very bottom of the page, etc.), and would promote site-related products and services (i.e. DCBS, comic books and conventions, movies, video games, comic book supplies, etc.). So it's not like you'll find them in the middle of articles / reviews or hovering over the logo at the top of the page, nor will they promote XXX sites and products.
