KnightWing
Though it may work better if it's a girl tackling a guy. No joke, that has actually happened to me once before. After I explained the Lantern spectrum to a friend of mine, she walked over to my bookshelf, picked up my Violet ring, put it on, and tackled me with mock-affection. Venneh
Nice. I was going to ask if it was at a con and you were attacked by a rabid yaoi fangirl, actually.
dc20willsave
Nice. I was going to ask if it was at a con and you were attacked by a rabid yaoi fangirl, actually. Oh God, at least some have the decency to ask "May I glomp you?" The ones who do it with no warning have earned my eternal hatred and taught me not to wear a Kingdom Hearts hoodie to a con. KnightWing
The Lantern spectrum has been a weirdly powerful social tool for comics fans, as I've noticed. Ever so often (not very often, but still) when I'm wearing my Green Lantern t-shirt, I'll walk past someone who's wearing a blue/red/yellow/violet/green lantern T-shirt or ring in public, make eye contact with them, then exchange a quick smile and nod, as though we're brothers/sisters-in-arms. Fun stuff.
Molly
I'm wearing my Blue Shirt. I feel as if I'm a member of a social order. They're subtle enough to go unnoticed, but it's a great way to spot fellow geeks.
dc20willsave
The fun thing to do at Cons is to count what the most plentiful Lantern T-Shirt is.
KnightWing
Hey guys, random thought: Maybe we should get a set of reasonably-sized Lantern symbols and put them in our E-2 signatures? Just for the heck of it?
Koete
I'm wearing my Batman and Robin shirt. Lantern Spectrum what?
KnightWing
Found some. Credit goes to this guy. (those are actual individual images, BTW. Just copy/paste the code.)
SuaveStar
Hey guys, random thought: Maybe we should get a set of reasonably-sized Lantern symbols and put them in our E-2 signatures? Just for the heck of it? Well, I did it.
KnightWing
Sweet. This is fun. On another random note, MY GREEN LANTERN RING GOT SCRATCHED. Now there's a small place where you can see the white plastic underneath the green paint.

Molly
Blue, because I'm the Batman optimist. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
Venneh
Blue as well for the irrational optimist.
KnightWing
Green because my creativity and confidence kick in when all else fails. And because I'm not afraid of anything other than dinosaurs, which are, to my knowledge, extinct.
