Who wants to contribute to the "Mike Really Needs To Get Laid, So Let's Hire Him An Escort" fund? (If it suits your fancy, I will dress her up like Guy Gardner and take pictures.)

EDIT: I'm going out to a movie. By the time I get back I expect to see a couple of hundred dollars in my PayPal account. Everything I do around here, the least y'all can do is pay for me to get some. ;)

Mike, you've been approaching your blue ball situation all wrong. Why pay for sex when you can get paid and get sex at the same time...by having your own VH1 reality show. If there's one thing I've learned in all my years of watching The Soup, it's that VH1 reality shows are magnets for slutty chicks. I can see it now: "Podcast Pimp with Michael David Sims," where twenty redheads compete for the affection of one podcaster. Challenges would include "Dress up like The Baroness," and at the elimination ceremony, you give the ones who move to the next round a hoodie. It's foolproof.

So, I'm going to be in NYC for at least one night, two days with my dad and my little sister, we'll be hitting up Times Square, Central Park, and a Broadway show for sure, staying in SoHo while I check out NYU for grad school. Any recommendations for anything else to check out, if anyone else has been?

Whatever you do, resist the lure to see Phantom. It's great but it's been there so long, why not try to see one of the smaller musicals. Oh, and Wicked might be sold out so if you decide to go, have a back-up. As for other things to do in NYC, fifth avenue obviously as well as the World Trade Center footprints, get some street vendor food, and for the love of God, do the NBC tour. You might get lucky and see one of the good shows filming or get on the Today Show.

Top floor view from Rockerfeller centre (30 Rock) is amazing. Not as tall as the Empire State but in my opinion a better view because you get to see the whole island of Manhatten including the Empire State, Central Park, all the Bridges, the Chrysler building etc. I went up twice, once during the day and once at night for the city lights. Both times were awesome.
