JackFetch
Producer Joel Silver told the Los Angeles Times that Guy Ritchie is no longer attached to direct Warner Bros. Pictures' adaptation of the DC Comics title Lobo because the studio is moving forward with Sherlock Holmes 2. "I don't think he's going to do it now," Silver, who is producing both properties, said. "The studio wants us and Guy to focus on making another 'Sherlock Holmes'... So we're trying to see if we can do something quickly with another 'Sherlock Holmes' movie. We have some ideas and some good story points." Silver added that they'll likely go with another director for Lobo. He expects everyone to come back for Sherlock Holmes 2. "Downey loves the experience of playing Sherlock and would love to play him again, and I'd love to see him play it again. Jude and all of them will be back and it will be great." Silver was also asked about the rumor that Brad Pitt would appear in the "Holmes" sequel as Professor Moriarty. "Well, I mean, we talked about that at one point, but you know as of right now we're not sure what we're going to do. We'll see what happens," he said. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=62718

tglancy
Was the first one any good?
Molly
I didn't hate it. It was fun enough, good performance from RDJ.
Venneh
It was a Victorian Batman bromance, fun to throw on one evening, haven't really felt the need to watch it again.
MaxPower
I've watched it many times. It's quite possibly my favourite Jude Law performance, I think his Watson is fantastically done. But I can definitely see the Victorian Batman thing.
KnightWing
The first one was good, decent fun. A little distracting because RDJ is just playing Tony Stark in a period piece, but otherwise good.
James D.
I just saw the first one days ago and thought it was fantastic.
James D.
This movie was awesome. Even better than the first.
Stavros
Might catch it at the weekend since there's a cinema right next to my gym. Gone an oddly long time without going to the cinema recently, this'll break my streak.
You Know Who
Not seeing it. I was not crazy about the last one (but did not hate it) and I do not want to pay money to see Holmes in drag or a Moriarty that looks like a leprechaun. That is all. James D.
Dude who played Moriarty was phenomenal. Also, Dark Knight Rises trailer before the movie! The one line of dialogue uttered by Bane in the trailer was better than literally everything in Batman and Robin.
JasonC
Ebola is better than anything in Batman & Robin...
MaxPower
Saw this the other day. Not sure I would say it's better than the first but it was still very good. I thought it was a bit too silly in parts, mainly the camouflage outfit thing griped me.

Chops
Just got back. I enjoyed it and thought it was pretty good, even though I think they went a little heavy on the slow-mo.
