SuaveStar
Phillp Tan and James Robinson will be working on a Hawkman series.
KnightWing
Hmm. I don't hate either of them. Hopefully it'll be good.
Koete
Why can't Philip Tan draw like his prints all the time? I was unimpressed by his work in Batman and Robin, but this Hawkman print and an earlier Batman one I saw look fantastic.
Molly
Hawkman bores me to tears and so does Robinson. Pass.
Stavros
Hawkman's cool, I've got most of his last series which is pretty good, a large chunk of it was written by Geoff Johns. However I won't be picking this up, because ever since Robinson got given the keys to half the DC universe it's gone to shit along with his writing. Koete
I don't know why Robinson would want to return to Hawkman. He doesn't have any eight year old daughters as I recall.

dc20willsave
I don't know whether that's hilarious or the step below razorfist. Still deciding.
SuaveStar
I don't know whether that's hilarious or the step below razorfist. Still deciding. It's a Bizzarro so its good. Also, I just realised his name would be something like Arse-arrow.

Whilst Kittens aren't the most effective projectile, at least this guy can wipe his own arse. Call it a deliberate Babychest.

Stavros
He's DC's Dogwelder. OH MY GOD. This is the new maximum rating for a comic.
Missy
But, Preston, Dogwelder is a DC character. Tom, have you never heard of Dogwelder before?
Stavros
I have not, regrettably I've only read the odd issue of Hitman. Clearly though the concept is comedy gold. I mean, dogs aren't even close to being a weldable substance.
Molly
But, Preston, Dogwelder is a DC character. Okay. He's DC's other Dogwelder. For some reason, I thought Hitman was Veritgo. Which is stupid, because I know he crossed over with the JLA and had some awesome interactions with Superman.

I mean, dogs aren't even close to being a weldable substance. For all of the comedy in Hitman, it's also a very dramatic, powerful comic book series. The Superman issue, "Who Dares Wins," "Katie," "The Old Dog," and "Closing Time" are some of Ennis' best, most somber writing.
Koete
Rob Liefeld is serializing a comic at his website called Zombie Jesus. It's no Jesus Christ: In The Name of The Gun.
Stavros
Just read Amazing Spider-Man 647. I'm honestly trying to separate this from the whole MJ thing, but I really hate Pete's new love interest Carlie. She's irritating, demanding, irrational and WAY too pushy. I swear, it's not even just an MJ thing, this woman doesn't have a patch on Gwen or Felicia either. The final panel has Peter and Carlie kissing and Pete thinking something along the lines of "never had something feel so right". Well I've never had something feel so wrong. Venneh
What is this "Amazing Spider-Man" you speak of? I have never heard of it. I was under the opinion that it got cancelled a few years ago. (Denial: A totally valid coping mechanism!)

dc20willsave
Comic book artist Leigh Gallagher's marriage proposal. There's no way around it: Comic book artists seem to always have the best proposals.
George W.
What is this "Amazing Spider-Man" you speak of? I have never heard of it. I was under the opinion that it got cancelled a few years ago. (Denial: A totally valid coping mechanism!) Yeah, Spider-Man died at the end of Straczinsky's run. No more issues have been published since then.
Molly
Hey, the Spider-Man stuff has been fine. The Peter Parker stuff makes wanna beat Quesada with a hunk of rebar, but the heroics have been good fun.
