James D.
Boxer. I realize they have one called "Boxer" in H4, but it is most definitely not the same. The melee button was B, but on this one, it's something else.
KnightWing
Boxer was always melee on the left trigger, not B. That's why it's called Boxer. http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Halo_Controls#Boxer If it's any consolation, it actually is much much better to always have melee on a trigger or bumper. 343 and Bungie have both said that players who used controls with melee on a trigger button nearly always performed better. It took me a bit to get used to the Halo 4 controls (I still hate that sprint is the left-clicker instead of a more reliable button), but now that I've been playing for a month, I'm pretty happy with them. Not as intuitive as Reach's default controls, but since there's more to do now, that only makes sense.
Guest
skate 3 - This has really become one of those games where I've spent way too many hours playing but never realized it. It really epitomizes a game that you can pick up for a few minutes while watching Youtube or doing something else. Also playing the Vita version of Mortal Kombat. Almost have the bonus challenge tower finished and there's just way too many instances of tilting the screen while fighting. Feels cheap. NightAngle04
Later this week I'm going to play through the Mass Effect series.
SuaveStar
Hitman: Absolution: I keep forgetting that I have no level of patience for anything. Other than that, the games fun, but so many enemies are after you at once, and the stupid trigger timing for shots is annoying.
JackFetch
Sleeping Dogs - Man this game is fun, and the voice acting is incredible.

JackFetch
Playing Assassin's Creed III. So far I'm really disappointed. If it doesn't pick up soon I'm trading it in. It's just really boring so far.
Guest
Two missions into DMC and it's already my favourite game in the series.
Aaron Robinson
What I really like about DMC is that they keep the backtracking and tedious puzzle solving down to a minimum. That's probably been probably been my biggest issue with the series. In this one they're always pressing you forward, and they do a great job of mixing things up to keep you on your toes. SuaveStar
I finished Sleeping Dogs last night. Great game, my one complaint is how pointless the guns are, I never enjoyed using them, and preferred to just spin kick the enemies to death. KnightWing
I just finished the new Tomb Raider. Holy SHIT, this is the best game I've played in a long, long time. It's like Uncharted 2 and Arkham Asylum had a baby, and it's incredible. I never expected a Tomb Raider game to be this good, but comparing this one to the past games is like comparing Casino Royale to Die Another Day. Loved it loved it loved it. I'd say it has a touch of Gears of War, with the three shots in quick succession and you're dead, idea.
SuaveStar
I completed Gears of War just a few minutes ago, along with the "Extra" hour for some backstory to 3. Games about 5 hours long, and is alright, but not great, felt a lot like 3, in that ending, and the final boss are just a bit crap.

Guest
Finished Bioshock Infinite in one sitting, which I consider a good thing. The other games were too long for their own good.[/colo All in all, a good game, but the ending left a bad taste in my mouth. I grow increasingly tired of endings that feel the need to have an hour long Matrix Architect moment to pat themselves on the back for their own twists. Somewhere along the way we went from all video game stories being too simple to everything needing to be some giant mystery as if a straight narrative is somehow beneath us now. Venneh
Rented Bioshock Infinite from Red Box. ...Man, I forgot how much I suck at FPSes.
Venneh
In related news, due to nausea and the breaks I need to take between each section, this is one I'm gonna have to purchase for cheap and finish at my own pace.
SuaveStar
DMC: Devil May Cry: Fun, but it constantly felt short, I don't know what it is about some games, but they just seem to fly by, I don't know if that's a compliment, or a problem. The final boss was alright, but I had to look online to find a guide on how to defeat him as the game gave no clues on what you're supposed to do. Overall, a fun game, and it did look very pretty. Chops
Started Sleeping Dogs this weekend. I could never get into GTA4 for some reason or another, and never got why everyone thought it was the greatest game ever. However Sleeping Dogs has really got me hooked, it does everything GTA does and does it better in my opinion. Also I love the setting and it has me very nostalgic for the time I spent in Hong Kong. The game really captured the city life there, everything seems authentic.
MaxPower
I just finished the new Tomb Raider. Holy SHIT, this is the best game I've played in a long, long time. I never expected a Tomb Raider game to be this good, but comparing this one to the past games is like comparing Casino Royale to Die Another Day. Loved it loved it loved it. Playing it now and it's definitely got a fair bit of inspiration from Uncharted. Really enjoy some of the little voice acting bits, like when you make a number of good shots in a row, the bad guys comment on who good a shot you are. KnightWing
What's really interesting is how it evolves from a horror survival game into an action game, and how the world around Lara responds. At first you have Lara getting beaten down repeatedly, but eventually you start overhearing henchmen talk about Lara like she's some kind of predator that they're all wary of. Mokoshne
I'm playing the walking dead game, i was surprised how good it was. Tells a decent story and i feel like the decisions i make pay off in small ways. Just finished chapter 1, loving it.
JackFetch
Borderlands 2 - I forgot how fun this series was. It still looks like poop though with the cell shading. It allows them to be really lazy in the art department.
