  1. You might find that's Christian Bale actually. Not a knock on Norton, I just prefer Bale. On topic: Norton's quite a coup if the reports are accurate. Bana did a good job in the first film, but Norton is a much better actor. I just hope they don't overdo the action in this one as the actor in question lends himself so much better to the nuances of Banner.
  2. You see, I take *nothing* seriously!!! And it's been pointed out to me what the source of contention is. It's pretty damn hilarious, all things considered!!!
  3. Weekly. Reason being, no matter how you pre-record things, you'd be putting them up on a daily basis, assuming you'll always have time to edit and post them, and people would struggle to keep up with feedback, even with the weekends free.
  4. a) .......what? What did I do? I had a joke at Kellen's expense and he goes uber-critical all of a sudden?!?!??! b) It's time for me to leave the Facebook group "If they say it on wikipedia, it must be true...." EDIT: I have a feeling I know what it was (the middle third, yes?). In which case, yes, I had recorded this and sent it off before I knew of such future plans. Ah well - perhaps we can role reverse this time rather than me going "well, Yoda & Jenny thought this"
  5. Sounds really good. The pilot you did on E2.N:TS was cool, despite (or possibly because of) the series starting off slightly slowly. To make it a true spin-off, you'll need to have James doing the intro before the theme music. Otherwise the two shows will blur into each other! Oh, and I have NO intention of making Comic Reelief a separate spin-off. I might get more feedback, but the sporadic updating wouldn't be worth it, I don't think.
  6. From the preview, I thought my seg had been edited down so as not to include TMNT due to the content of the all Turtles episode. I'm pleasantly surprised! This was my kind of show - one that focuses on something I know and has a good debate about its merits and negatives. Given that I'm doing a Turtles seg and then Spiderman comes out, I may leave my 300 review until around the time of the DVD release as I did for Superman Returns (didn't that get loving praise from all of us this episode?!?!?)
  7. Happy belated birthday. My laptop blew up last week so my workload has just intensified. I'll have to reinstall a lot just to get 'Comic Reel-ief' back on the ground. Still, huzzah for this site!
  8. His performances in order of greatness: Speed>>>>>>B&T>Matrix Bill & Ted *barely* over The Matrix films. Mainly because the role of Neo was limited in its acting demands whereas Ted saw Reeves do comedy successfully - in that he isn't really an actor, that's quite a feat. Of course, and I'm sure Chris will agree with me on this one, Keanu Reeves was best in the film 'Constantine'!!!!!! *runs scared*
  9. And you can swim!!!!!
  10. The same *awesome* game. I know what you mean, though.

    Happy Birthday Yoda!

Happy birthday!!! Mike, you're not old; you're..........mature...
  12. I'm honestly not certain how one should respond when you win a category and the two hosts simply laugh!!! Nice to have won a couple - I wish I was more regular but in a few weeks when my coursework is done, I'll be much more able to resume active duty. I even have designs on writing articles in my capacity as CBM correspondent. Oh, and yes, my voice is awesome! I think I wouldn't have won the second one if D-Dubs had done another 1 episode of C3 - that segment had so much more content than Comic Reel-ief. Congrats to everyone else who won. Btw, what programme do you use to have audio conversations across the net? I've heard this and then an Oratory podcast today and I'm fascinated!
  13. Aaron Eckhart is Harvey Dent/Two face! Yay!!!! ....well, that's the net opinion. I don't think I've seen a single film of his.
  14. That sums up my feelings perfectly.
  15. Still not a fan of the whole Uncle Ben Killer thingamy, but it's looking pretty sweet otherwise. I think we're going to need to set up a death pool for this one though. Who's with me?!
  16. That is just insane! How many times does the player die? No-one wants a push-over for a game, but that looked fucking impossible!
  17. The only good thing that involves Ja Rule is the fact that he was the basis for OG Loc in GTA:SA. Still, wouldn't it be fun to see Ja Rule being gorily slaughtered!?
  18. Awesome. The Muppets rule. I always thought Muppets Tonight was incredibly underrated, even as a 12 year-old!
  19. My views on this, from the Oratory For those of you who can't be arsed to read my response to Mav's view, Holmes is easily the most expendible of the cast of Batman Begins. I'm watching it again just to remind myself of how unintegral she was to that film (any excuse to watch it again!)
  20. Thanks slothian! There are a lot of horror films that do have depth. You just have to look for them, and only watch films made before the late 80s Stick around. In a couple of weeks I'll be covering Dawn of the Dead in much the same way and of course the other installments in the series to follow... I've made it plain through the show that I don't go looking for horror films as I'm an ultra-wimp - I'm not even sure what I was doing watching the original film! But yeah, the focus on gore for gore's sake particularly turns me off about modern horror films. For example, I can watch Tarrantino gore but not the Saw films. But by all means recommend better films to me from a bygone era in subsequent columns!
  21. I enjoyed this one quite a bit as well. Never thought about NOTLD in that way before - who'd have thought a horror film could have depth? Certainly no producer nowadays...
  22. It's just awkward going "I'm Ian Wilson and I....talk about....comic book....films....." really! I like the lack of feedback for shows sometimes - it means no-one's dickish enough to point out I said "Luthee" instead of Luther at one point! Here's me thinking comicbook readers were vocally picky!
  23. The potential of a Ghostbusters game on the Wii makes me too excited. Granted, on the off-chance it actually happens, it'll probably still be incredibly disappointing. Still, fingers *and* toes crossed. (Points for where that last quote comes from).
  24. Like what? There's less Anna Paquin in X2
