  2. Crystal Lake Memories: The History of Friday the 13th by Peter M Bracke Next books to read are: Smallville Season 5: The Official Companion by Craig Byrne Batman: The Long Halloween Warlock by Wilbur Smith Angels & Demons by Dan Brown The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown
  3. Only Halloween 6 Box Set, Freddy's Nightmares TV Series, Fantastic Four 1994 Version and Birds of Prey TV Series are bootlegs, but they are professionally made with custom artwork, special features, disc art and even company logos(Freddy's Nightmares has both New Line and Warner Brothers labels, because they both own the series).
  4. I paid $65.00 for the Freddy's Nightmare box set, it contains 19 disc, with all the episodes from both seasons and several bonus features that wasn't in the released Nightmare box set. I also got Halloween 6 box set, a 5 disc set that has 5 versions of the film, with Special Features, I paid $45.00, I also got the complete Birds of Prey TV series, which includes the Sherilyn Fenn unaired pilot, that I got free with the Halloween set.
  5. I'm sorry here is the correct link, that was the link given to me as I was already signed in: http://www.dvdspot.com/member=annericelover
  6. Well here is the link where I have managed to list about 90% of all the films I own. Some aren't listed because they came with CD's, the Freddy's Nightmares TV Series was a little more than what the available content was. If you wanna know more than please contact me: http://www.dvdspot.com/member=annericelover
  7. The Frog Brothers will be in the sequel, but Corey Haim, who was the biggest supporter of the sequel, mentioning it everywhere he went as something he wanted to do, is not going to be in it. He has copped out. Corey Feldman who eventually agreed, because of Corey Haim wanting it so badley has said he was very upset, but he is sticking with the project since he made a committment. I saw pics from the film and Feldman actually styled his hair the way he had it in the first film, its pretty cool. We all know that a sequal or remake would make us all think, What the hell? Both are bad ideas, but we will still watch it, as fans of the first.
  8. I actually enjoyed the episode, Dean Cain is great as a villain, he played such a goody good Superman in Lois and Clark, I'm glad he was able to overcome any typecasting. The character was an adaptation of Vandal Savage, he even mention facing another Superman villain Mongul. It was great, he is supposed to return again, but with only 15 episodes coming this season, he will return in Season 8. And yes, they have a Supergirl spin-off they are really considering and a possible Metropolis spin-off.
  9. Now, I'm addicted to watching shows on DVD now, because commercials make me turn the channel and I miss the episodes. But I watched The Batman today and noticed for the first time that the Superman in the series(besides being voiced by Geroge Newbern, the guy to voice Superman in DCAU JL and JLU and Lex Luthor is voiced by DCAU Luthor Clancy Brown)looks like an older version of the Legion of Superheroes Superboy, does this mean their in the same world? Or just similar animation?
  10. http://movies.ign.com/articles/843/843330p1.html Wow, thanks very much. I'm kind of excited. I hope that William Katt or Robert Culp is involved in a cameo or something. Or maybe it's a sequel to the series finale and will have a new person after Hinkly and the Heroine(the teacher who got the powers in the 86 episode).
  11. BELIEVE IT OR NOT!....Back in 2004, Disney optioned the rights to the popular 80's TV Series Greatest American Hero. Creator Stephen Cannell who was also responsible for shows like A-Team and 21 Jump Street was said to be looking over the production and making of the film. But I haven't heard much about this film being made, since. Does anyone know if the film is still going to be made, or if the companies in charge decided against it? I have the entire series on DVD and originally thought that the I Love the 80's segmant on VH1 made the DVD release possible, now I think it was to renew interest in the show.
  12. Just an idea I'd like to hear the opinion about from other members. Imagine after the ending of the Dolph Lundgren He-Man movie Gwildor has given the key time travel abilities. Skeletor has revived and taken the key and goes into the future of Third Earth where the Thundercats reside. Once there Skeletor is met by Mam-Ra and joins forces with him to take over. Meanwhile Gwildor is at work developing a new Key for He-Man & Co. to follow, when they do finally get into the future, they are immediately hurled into battle with Skeletor and Mam-Ra and eventually aided by the Thundercats.
  13. Well Tru Calling was fortunate enough to get a full length music video to its theme song, now Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has a music video. From the pilot I saw, this isn't the theme song, but they may have changed the theme song since. The song is "Rise Today" by Alter Bridge it can be seen on my Dark Knight myspace in the Movie Music Video I Youtube playlist or just go to the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=961KgU2azcQ Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles premiere's on FOX on Sunday January 13th at 8pm and Moday January 14th at 9pm. I have seen the pilot already and it isn't that bad. Check it out.
  14. Thanks I'll check it out, I forget sometimes that most films we watch are not realistic(Freddy Kruger, Jason Voorhees, etc), but I try so hard sometimes to get into these films, but can't. Hopefully this film will do the trick, thanks
  15. Thanks I'll have to pick that up. Do you think I should get The Man Who Laughs collection of Joker stories or just keep getting the DC Archives books.

  17. Yea, I agree with that they have to make it so if it is a popular episode or storyline they can revisit it again in the future. Whether it's a good idea or not, I would be interested in seeing if they can pull it off. It would be fun to see Mark Hamill's Joker and Kevin Michael Richardson's Joker interact, they are different in style and look, but both have sick sense of humors. The DC Present comics are they available in a collected pack? Or is there a place where I can get a few comics for a short amount of change?
  18. Ok I found it, it was in 1985 and he was called Superboy-Prime and first appeared in DC Comics Presents #87. It was during the Infinite Crisis crossover, where Superboy-Prime and other characters were fictional characters.
  19. Well there is an issue of Superman, I forget what issue where Superman meets an alternate universe Superboy. There were no reprecussions that I can remember. There wouldn't be much reprecussion, maybe a villain at the end of the episode(like The Joker, voiced again by Mark Hamill)is able to go into the rift at the same time The Batman does and The Batman has to return him back. He can face two Joker's.
  20. Well I wanna get them for their historic sentiment, the Death and Resurface of a sense of Jason Todd. The Killing Joke showcases not only the "origin" of the Joker, but the end of Barbara Gordon's Batgirl(I'm not sure if she turns into The Oracle in this). I like to read about the first appearances of the characters and if there are deaths, those too.
  21. Now, this is just a fan of both speaking of an idea I had that might be cool. In the JL and JLU show they always had at least one episode where they time travel or go to alternate worlds. What if after The Batman has been with the Justice League, he is accidently transported to an alternate universe, which would be the DCAU world. The animators of that universe can come in to animate that world. It would be a guilty pleasure for me, but I doubt it would happen, considering Warner Brothers doesn't want to compare the two series. What would you think if this actually happened?
  22. Well if you head over to bloody-disgusting.com you will find some somewhat interesting news. Whether the news is good or bad is up to the reader. It appears that both films that were written and directed by Wec Craven are getting sequels, these movies are: The People Under the Stairs Shocker: No More Mr Nice Guy(this already has a subtitle, which means this will most likely happen first) Tell me what you think. I'm not sure what I think yet, surprisingly I enjoyed the remakes of The Hills Have Eyes films, so as long as Wes Craven is invloved it may be good. I know it's his studio company that are planning these sequels.
  23. Actually I'm going to wait until the March 18th release comes out. I'll order it along with A Death in the Family and Under the Hood.

  25. If the fights were realistic, they'd all look like bad MMA bouts. Two guys rolling on the ground occasionally hitting each other until they get pulled apart. The entire purpose of kung fu is that it's unrealistic and fun to watch. No one watches it for realism or a gripping narrative. I don't know what MMA stands for, but if that's the reason for Kung Fu films, than I'll never watch again, I need some good storytelling to go with the action. With horror movies I can deal with stupidity and stuff, but not that.
