I was wondering what conventions everyone was planning on going to this coming year. I figured this would more easily allow people going to the same con to meet up, hang out, and, if necessary, plan out lodging plans. I am currently planning on going to (outside of the two tiny local gaming conventions): Ohayocon: Columbus, OH Jan. 29-31 though I'm only going to on the 30th and maybe the 31st. Gem City Comiccon: Dayton, OH April 5th. Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo: Chicago, April 16-18 Origins Game Fair: Columbus, OH June 22nd-27th thought I don't know what dates I'm going to attend. Gen Con: Indianapolis, Indiana August 5-8 though I don't know what days I'm planning on going there also. Mid-Ohio Con: Columbus, OH November 6-7

Call me traditional but I would want a church wedding. I think it's some of that Catholic brainwashing at work but I want the big long ceremony, I want to go through a hellishly long ceremony, I want to have to pay a crap load for the privilege of the big church. Once I have the right, I plan to use it, thank you very much.

And I officially envy you if you take that trip.

I cannot remember the last time I've played Euchre. That sounds like it might be fun sometime. As for Mao, I just looked up the rules on Wiki and it does sound kinda complicated. Could be fun if played right but still complicated.

I really loved it. Quite possibly my favorite season ender so far.

For those that don't know or remember, I work in a college bookstore in the textbook department. I'm helping a man and his 12 year old daughter find his books, answering some questions. He asks me, "This is my first quarter so I don't know how this works but the government is paying for my books-" The daughter interrupts with, in a snotty voice, "Because you couldn't keep your job." What a brat.

I feel kinda pathetic for saying this, but that kinda got me a little excited. >_< Don't feel pathetic. It's fun being nostalgic.

Didn"t find anything myself but they usually don't start voting until all the titles have been released. Give it time. This is actually just the first of the specials to come out so voting probably won't start until March or April.

Bollocks is spelled with two o's. Well, that's how I spell it. Try and be Scottish and ask for salt and vinegar on those fish and chips. I have a self new years resolution: buy less stuff that isn't needed. Today I went out and got a pipe. Salt and vinegar always goes on my fish and chips. Yummers. As for my spelling, I was typing in the bar, a few Jack and Cokes in the hole, with no spell check. That said, I was phonetically close.
