Cash Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 You love it... every... fucking... bit of it... Quote
Morphine Jim Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 Looks decent, I gotta say. If it plays differently from The Wind Waker Of Time, then I'll take a little more notice Quote
Luke Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I'm going to stake my life on the claim that this is going to kick the shit out of anything else ever. Quote
Missy Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I'm going to stake my life on the claim that this is going to kick the shit out of anything else ever. That's a very good bet. Now let's just hope they've finally added voices! Quote
Mr. Keith Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 GTA- Halo- Legend of Zelda- Quote
slothian Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 I have creamed myself, as you Yanks say. Zelda owns all of you and your mothers Quote
Cash Posted November 25, 2004 Author Report Posted November 25, 2004 I can't get over the beam of light coming through the trees in that one shot. That's just AMAZING detail. Quote
Cheap Heat Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 I'm not as impressed as everyone. Am I the only who will miss the Cel Shading? Playing Windwaker was like playing one beautiful interactive cartoon movie. This one has the rough edges around the figures. It looks good, but not as good as what it could've looked like if they decided to not try and make Zeld "Mother fuckin' badass, dude!" Quote
Missy Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 I really, really love Wind Waker and would truly like to see another Zelda game done in that style. However, I'm all for Nintendo's willingness to try something new. Quote
Mr. Keith Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 I really enjoyed the Wind Waker and was probably one of the only people who really liked the sailing parts of the game. Sure, it got boring after awhile, but I enjoyed the concept of it. But still, I'm more pumped for this game then I would be for another cel-shaded one. Quote
Luke Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Nintendo fanboy- "Whachoo talkin' 'bout?" Quote
Morphine Jim Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Don't make me repost Luigi's "Link Stinks" post. Quote
Skyre Posted November 28, 2004 Report Posted November 28, 2004 WOW!!! These graphics don't look like anything Nintendo has ever made (although they still can't make round objects without a helluva lot of rough edges). These screenshots look awesome. I'm glad that nintendo has finally improved they're graphics. Quote
slothian Posted March 13, 2005 Report Posted March 13, 2005 BUMP: Technically not screenshots, but I didn't want to make a new thread. For those who haven't seen it, New Zelda trailer Quote
Missy Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been delayed until roughly March or April of 2006. :grumble: Quote
Shinmaru Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been delayed until roughly March or April of 2006. :grumble: Drat, I was just coming here to post that. Pretty disappointing, though I've long grown used to delays when it comes to Nintendo's big games. Figures that the game is delayed when I'll actually have plenty of money to spend around that time. Oh well. There will assuredly be plenty of games to occupy time with, but I was really looking forward to playing Zelda in November. By the way, new screenshots have been released along with the delay announcement. I guess that Nintendo had to come up with something to placate all of the fans lest they all go insane, haha. The screens look really great... with a couple of them it's hard to believe I'm looking at GameCube screens. Quote
Mr. Keith Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Wow, so the only big name title coming out for the Game Cube this year was Resident Evil 4...... and they release it at the very beginning of the year?!?! Quote
TheRetreater Posted August 17, 2005 Report Posted August 17, 2005 I almost cried when i first found out about this delay. i guess they haven't been dropping the blockbusters but i'm still realllllly pumped for mario ddr and mario (giggle) superstar baseball... i want baseball soooooo much Quote
Mr. Keith Posted August 18, 2005 Report Posted August 18, 2005 i guess they haven't been dropping the blockbusters but i'm still realllllly pumped for mario ddr and mario (giggle) superstar baseball... i want baseball soooooo much Wish I could say the same, but neither of those titles really excite me in the slightest bit. I might try out the baseball game, but ddr excites me just as much as the Konga games did. And believe me, I didn't give a crap about them. On topic: this delay really depresses me. Quote
